Abstract

The objective of the research is to know correlation between duration of using injectable depomedroxy progesterone acetate (DMPA) with return of fertility in women ex-user injectable DMPA .The research was conducted in April to August 2010. The kind research is analytic survey with design of research is cross sectional. Sample was taken with accidental sampling and sample had taken 50 women ex-user injectable DMPA. Data was analized using Pearson Correlation.The result of the study showed that there was no correlation between duration of using injectable depomedroxy progesterone acetate (DMPA) with return of fertility in women ex-user injectable DMPA with ρ value = 0,119.   Key words: duration of using DMPA, return of fertility

Abstract

Introduction: Family Planning Program which are embodied in the use of contraception despite the lack of attention should be the determining factor in creating quality family. This sometimes short periods of public participation in family planning program tends to decrease. This is because the way of family planning has not published well, if left there will be a large enough population explosion. Policy to increase family planning programs still need to get attention, mainly on improving the quality of communication skills for family planning counselors in conducting family planning counseling. Purpose: To determine the relationship of Family Planning counseling with decision making Fertile Age Couples in the use of contraceptives tools in the Karang Klesem Village South Purwokerto District Banyumas Regency. Research Methodology: This research uses survey research, analytical and descriptive type conducted a case control approach. The sample in this study were divided into two groups, namely the Fertile Age Couples using contraceptives as many as 88 respondents and Fertile Age Couples groups who are not using contraceptives were 71 respondents. Determination of sampling using stratified random sampling. The analysis in this study using Chi Square. Result: Overall Fertile Age Couples planning acceptors counseling is a number 88 (100.0%) respondents and the majority of non-acceptors of family planning Fertile Age Couples never received family planning counseling of 54 (76.1%) respondents. Based on the analysis, H0 is rejected because it found that the result ρ = 0.000. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between Family Planning counseling with decision making Fertile Age Couples in the use of contraceptives tools. Suggestion: It is expected that health professionals can better improve the quality of family planning services again to the fertile age pair. Abstract

Community Based Medical Education (CBME) is needed to increase midwifery student’s competency. To be a professional midwife, midwifery students  have to have good hardskills and softskills so they are able to give intervention based evidence,  make good communication, make  good cooperation in team and give solution for difficult problem in midwifery service. During this time, such program implementation is not analized yet further especially in achieving softskill learning goal consist of leadership and communication. To analyze the influence of community based medical education towards increasing midwifery student’s ability of leadership and communication. The study design used mixed method with sequential explanatory strategy. The subject of this research was VI semester students of YLPP midwifery academy of Purwokerto, midwife as field and academic lecture. Quantitative sample was total sampling and qualitative sample was chosen through purposive sampling. The instrument of quantitative research used questionnaire, while the instrument of qualitative research used indeep interview method. There was influence of community based medical education towards increasing midwifery student’s ability of communication and leadership softskills that was seen from P-value (0.000) less than a (0.05) value. Abstract

Rupture perineum is the wound of the perineum caused by tissue damage due to natural pressure of the fetal head or shoulder during delivery. rupture perineum is the one of cause by lowering woman’s quality of life that influenced to woman’s reproductive organ. Mother age and  delivery’s duration usually can cause rupture perineum. The incidence of rupture perineum in BPS Ida Farida at  Pancasan Village Ajibarang Subdistrict Banyumas Regency 2010 around 89 people (67.4%) of the total labor 132 people in 2010. To know the relationship of mother age and delivery’s duration to primipara mother with rupture perineum insidence at BPS Ida Farida at Pancatan Village Ajibarang Subdistrict Banyumas Regency in 2010. The researcher used a case control with retrospective approach. The data analysis used univariate analysis with used statistics descriptive and bivariate analysis with used chi square test. The population at this research was the primipara delivery mother at BPS Ida Farida at Pancatan Village Ajibarang Subdistrict Banyumas Regency in 2010 with 20  cases samples and 20 control samples used purposive sampling technique. Respondents who reproductive age (20-35 years old) around 25 respondents (62,5%) and  normal delivery’s duration around 31 respondents (77,5%). There was relationship between mother age with rupture perineum with ρ value 0,022 < α 0,05 and there was relationship delivery duration with rupture perineum with ρ value 0,020 < α 0,05. There was relationship between mother age and delivery duration with rupture perineum. For health worker should always provide counseling and give information to pregnant woman espescially primigravida about mother’s condition that can cause rupture perineum and delivery characteristics in order to minim rupture perineum insidense. Abstract

Program Keluarga Berencana  merupakan salah satu pelayanan kesehatan preventif  yang dasar dan  utama bagi wanita. Alat kontrasepsi Suntik  merupakan metode kontrasepsi yang banyak digunakan para ibu. Kontrasepsi tersebut menimbulkan efek samping, diantaranya adalah kenaikan berat badan. Salah satu penyebab kenaikan berat badan yaitu karena pengaruh hormon progesteron. Menurut Hartanto (2003), penggunaan kontrasepsi Suntik DMPA dalam jangka panjang dapat mempengaruhi kenaikan berat badan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh  lamanya pemakaian kontrasepsi Suntik DMPA terhadap kenaikan berat badan di BPS Supriyatni Desa Paketingan Kecamatan Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian analitik  desain cross sectional dengan uji Regresi Linear sebagai uji statistik dalam pengolahan data. Subjek penelitian ini adalah akseptor kontrasepsi Suntik DMPA sebanyak 61 akseptor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata lama pemakaian 23 bulan dengan rata-rata kenaikan berat badan 5,30 kg, nilai thitung = 23,277 nilai R= 0,950 dan nilai R² = 90,25%.Semakin lama penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik DMPA, berat badan cenderung naik. Ada pengaruh  lamanya pemakaian  kontrasepsi Suntik DMPA terhadap kenaikan berat badan di BPS Supriyatni Desa Paketingan Kecamatan Sampang Kabupaten Cilacap Tahun 2010. Oleh karena itu diharapkan  bidan memberikan informasi pada akseptor Suntik DMPA mengenai efek samping yang sering dikeluhkan yaitu kenaikan berat badan, agar akseptor dapat mempertimbangkan dalam penggunaan kontrasepsi Suntik DMPA. Abstract

Pre-eclampsia is one of the causes of maternal mortality. Pre-eclampsia causes a decrease in the function of a number of organs and systems is expected due to vascular endothelial dysfunction and vasospasm. Decreased organ function causes changes in pregnancy is one of them changes hematological profile of pregnant women. Preeclampsia is a significant cause of low birth weight babies. This type of research: descriptive analytic research with retrospective case control approach. Population that were pregnant women who visit and or refer to hospital Margono Soekardjo in 2015 as many as 230 people. Samples were taken by simple random sampling a total of 70 samples. Data was analyzed by T test. The results showed There was significant effect between maternal blood profile that was hemaglobin, hematocrit and erythrocyte weight newborns whereas there was no effect between leukocyte with newborn weight in pregnant women with pre-eclampsia. Conclusions: There was significant effect between the levels of hemoglobin, hematocrit and erythrocytes with newborn weight in pregnant women with pre-eclampsia in RS Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto. Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy adversely impact both the pregnant mother, childbirth or in the postpartum period and beyond. Therefore, prevention efforts are needed. One of the prevention of anemia in pregnant women is consumption of green vegetables with proper portions each day. Objectives of research to identify the causes of some of the determinants of anemia in pregnant women in health centers Apex Purbalingga Year 2013. This research is a descriptive study with cross sectional analytic. The study sample of 50 pregnant women in the third trimester Apex Purbalingga Health Center in 2013. Univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi square test. Results of research show that consumption green vegetable consumption among pregnant women at no more than good enough category (46.0%). Most pregnant women do not have anemia that is 34 people (68.0%). There is a relationship consumption of green vegetables with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women (p = 0.004). Conclusion of research conducted that there is a relationship between the consumption of green vegetable consumption with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women.
