Abstract

PT Bhinneka Dwi Persada adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyediaan barang dan jasa sistem ALUTSISTA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi dan komunikasi PR yang dilakukan oleh PT Bhinneka Dwi Persada, agar perusahaan yang tidak begitu terbuka kepada publik dapat meningkatkan dan mempertahankan reputasinya, melalui program CSR. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan memaparkan bagaimana strategi PR yang dilakukan oleh PT Bhinneka Dwi Persada, untuk menjangkau masyarakat, pemerintah, dan pengguna secara efisien. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Konsep yang digunakan adalah Strategi PENCILS. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bersama PT Bhinneka Dwi Persada menunjukkan bahwa strategi PR tersebut efektif. Hal ini terlihat dari bagaimana reputasinya dapat meningkat, sekaligus mempertahankan reputasi tersebut selama bertahun-tahun.

Abstract

Belaga Hollywood is someone who considers himself already in the Hollywood realm but actually has not yet reached that stage. The researcher gave the title of this research to see how the Visual Whisperer Project members interpret the information on the Belaga Hollywood episode Q&A program by using three position categories, namely the position of dominant hegemony, negotiation, and opposition. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research and encoding-decoding theory by Stuart Hall. Researchers analyzed using audience reception analysis methods. The results showed there were differences in meaning in each of the information described in the Belaga Hollywood Q&A program. The position of the audience is dominated by the dominant hegemony position in Hollywood Belaga Title information, the Meaning of Incontention, Media Release which contains Livi Zheng films competing with Avengers, Utilizing public ignorance, and Criticism for National Media. The meaning of the opposition is in the directors' information. The negotiating position becomes a meaning that does not dominate any information on the Belaga Hollywood Q&A program.

Abstract

The depiction of the figure of a Muslim woman, namely a Muslim woman who behaves in daily life following the teachings of Islam. The purpose of this study was to determine the depiction of Muslim women in the film Sisterlillah. In this study, the researcher uses the theory of social reality construction in mass media, constructivism paradigm, qualitative research approach, descriptive research type and content analysis research method using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics (sign, object, interpretant). The results of the study show that the figure depicting Muslim women in the film is depicted through five female Muslim characters who are energetic, highly educated, have careers, prioritize marriage and stay away from adultery.

Abstract

Culture is a social reality that is packaged by the mass media. Javanese culture becomes a concept and theme in Weird Genius' Video Clip 'Lathi'. This study aims to determine the depiction of Javanese culture that appears in the Weird Genius 'Lathi' Video Clip using the constructivism paradigm. This study uses the Social Reality Construction Theory in the mass media. This research approach is qualitative with semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce. The results of this study found that the depiction of Javanese culture appears in the clothes and accessories used which are relevant to the values of struggle, resistance, strength, power, life, and relationships, the depiction of Javanese culture appears in the form of Gamelan art as an instrument of encouragement in resistance, Wayang as a transition between scenes as well as symbols of characters in the story, and Kuda Lumping which symbolizes war, struggle, and suffering, depictions of Javanese culture also appear in the form of language from a Javanese proverb that describes a karma, for evil deeds committed by every human being.

Abstract

Film is a means of entertainment that has a high enough appeal in various circles of society. Film as a message medium has an entertaining nature that makes the audience unaware that the message from it penetrates the subconscious which can affect the mindset and attitude of the audience. The film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya is one of the family films that has successfully made the audience cry because the storyline is very touching, so it can be said that the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya can be well received by the Indonesian people. Family is one of the smallest components of society. From a harmonious family it will produce a harmonious society as well. One of the reasons for the harmony of a family is the role of the father. This study aims to determine what the depiction of the father's role in the film Sejuta Sayang Untuknya. This study uses qualitative research methods with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis method which analyzes a sign into the meaning of the sign, object, and interpretant. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of the sign, object, interpretant of Sagala is a father who is very responsible for his family and also that Sagala never gives up to make her child happy with the work she does even though Sagala's job does not stay somewhere.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning adolescents in Jakarta in interpreting parents infidelity in the reality show “Harta Tahta Wanita”. This study uses qualitative approach, constructivist paradigm, and descriptive research types. Researchers use audience reception analysis with Stuart Hall’s encoding-decoding theory which divides audiences into three positions: dominant hegemony, negotiation and opposition. The data collection technique used was in-depth interviews. The results of this study show that the negotiation position is the most dominant, because the informants had personal experiences regarding parental infedelity. Meanwhile, the positions of dominant hegemony and the position opposition doesnt dominate in every informations. This classification aims to make researcher know the receptions of adolescent in Jakarta regarding parental infedelity by Harta Tahta Wanita.
