<![CDATA[The Research objective to analyze the role of investigators in disclosing perpetrators of fraudulent cases of online e-commerce buying and selling transactions that occurred in Ternate City, as well as the factors that hinder investigators in disclosing perpetrators of fraud cases of online buying and selling transactions. The results showed that the role of investigators in disclosing cases of fraudulent online buying and selling transactions that occurred in the city of Ternate was referring to the rules set out in the Criminal Procedure Code, namely investigation and investigation. The factors that become obstacles in disclosing the perpetrators of fraud cases that occurred in the city of Ternate are internal factors and external factors. Therefore, the investigation is focused on cyber crime investigators from the North Maluku Police Ditkrimsus because it has the authority that has been regulated by law. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran penyidik dalam pengungkapan pelaku kasus penipuan transaksi jual beli online e-commerce yang terjadi di Kota Ternate, serta faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambatnya penyidik dalam melakukan pengungkapan pelaku kasus penipuan transaksi jual beli online. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran penyidik dalam melakukan pengungkapan kasus penipuan transaksi jual beli online yang terjadi kota ternate yaitu merujuk pada aturan yang telah diatur dalam KUHAP yakni penyelidikan dan penyidikan. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pengungkapan pelaku kasus penipuan yang terjadi di kota ternate yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Oleh karena itu, penyidikan difokuskan pada penyidik cyber crime Ditkrimsus Polda Maluku Utara karena memiliki kewenangan yang telah diatur dalam Undang-Undang.]]>
