Abstract

An experiment of the effect of plant distance and umber plant per hole of water spinaches (Ipomoea reptans L.) had been done since Pebruari 2016 until April 2016 in Krajan II, Soropadan Village, District Pringsurat, Temanggung regency. The height of 530 m above sea level research, latosol soil type and pH 6. The method of experiment used was factorial (3 x 4) with a randomized completly 3 block design, consist of three replications. The first factor is a plant spacing 5 cm x 5 cm, 5 cm x 10 cm, and 5 cm x 15 cm. The second factor is the number of plants per hole 1 plant, 2 plants, 3 plants and 4 plants. The results showed that the plant distance increase the yield fresh weight of root  at planting 1, 2, 3 and harvest indek at planting 1, 2. The number of plants per hole increase the yield fresh weight of plants for planting 1, 2, 3, dry weight of root at planting 2 and harvest indek at planting 1. The combination of plant distance and number of plant per hole no interaction at all parameters.

Abstract

A study on the influence of kinds of media and dose of rabbit urin on yield of celery (Apium graveolens, L.) was conducted in November 2015 until Februari 2016 in the village of Selomoyo, District Kaliangkrik Magelang Regency, altitude 710 m. The type of soil is latosol with a Ph of 6,5. The experiment was conducted using a 2 x 4 factorial arraged in a completely randomized design with three replications. The first factor is kind of media: soil: goat manure:chaff, soil: goat manure: charcoal husk, The second factor is dose of rabbit urine 0, 150, 300, 450 ml/polybag. The results showed that the kinds of media is hight significantly effect only on the number of tillers, the number of the leaves stalk and the fresh weight of the shoots. While the dose of rabbit urine hight significantly effect on the number of tillers and shoots weight of dry, and significantly effect on the number of leaves stalk, significantly effect on the number of leaves stalk. The combination of kinds of media and dose  of rabbit urine is significantly effect on the number of the leaves stalk.

Abstract

The research of effort to increase the yield of kale (Ipomoea reptans) was conducted on 01 August 2016 until 06 November 2016. The field experiment was on land of post eruption of Mount Merapi in Sawangan Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency. The altitude is 485 m, The soil isregosol with pH 5,5. The research used factorial experiment. One factor treatment of age of harvesting 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 30, and 32 days after planting arranged in randomized complete block design replicated four times. The results show that the treatments of days of harvesting high significantly influence all observed parameters. Increasing number of days of harvesting may increase parameters observed. The highest yield of edible parts is on 27th days of harvesting.

Abstract

The research on increasing the quantity of shallots (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum L.) with various sources of kalium and sulfur, conducted in July until September 2017 in Sawangan, Magelang. The latitude is 400 m, with the soils regosol and pH 5,6. The research used factorial experiment (3x3) arranged in a randomized complete block design, with three blocks. The first factor is the source of kaliumwich consists of three levels, without kalium, KCl and KNO3. The second factor is the source of sulfur wich consists of three levels, without sulfur, ZA and Petro-Cas. The result of the research show that KCl fertilizer increased longest leaf length, fresh weight of bulb per plot and dry weight of bulb per plot. KNO3 fertilizer increased fresh weight of bulb per plot, dry weight of bulb per plot, fresh weight of stover and dry weight of stover. ZA fertilizer increased longest leaf length, fresh weight of bulb per hill, dry weight keep thr bulb per hill, fresh weight of bulb per plot, dry weight of bulb per plot, fresh weight of stover and dry weight of stover. Petro-cas fertilizer not increased in all observation parameter. The combination of treatments of kalium and sulfur sources give the same results on the fresh weight of bulb per plot and dry weight of  bulb per plot.

Abstract

The research about effort to increase the yield of sweet corn (Zea mays var. saccharata Strurt.) using mikoriza doses and planting distance was conducted in August until November 2016. Location in forestry and agriculture institute axperimental Dlimas, Tegalrejo, Magelang. The altitude 478 m using latosol soil with pH 6,8. A research tipe (3X3) factorial experiment arrangged in randomized completed, block design repeated three times. The first factor was mikoriza dose of 0, 30 and 60 g/plant. The second factor was planting distance of 70 cm X 20 cm, 70 cm X 30 cm and 70 cm X 40 cm. The result of the research showed that mikoriza dose of 30 g/plant can increase the highly on number of leaves, weight of cob with husks per plant, weight of cob without husks per plant, cob lenght, composition of sugar and number of lines. Planting distance of 70 cm X 20 cm gived the highest plant height. While planting space of 70 cm X 40 cm gived the highest of leaves number, weight of cob with husks per plant, weight of cob without husks per plant, cob lenght, composition of sugar and the number of lines. Increasing mikoriza dose and planting distance different on the number of leaves.

Abstract

Research on the Effectiveness of Kinds of Manure and Plant Spacing on the yield of Okra Plants (Abelmoschus esculentus, L. Moench) was conducted from May until August 2018 Kanci II Sub village, Salamkanci Village, District Bandongan, Magelang. The Altitude is 410 m and the soil pH is 6,1. The method was factorial, arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three block. The first factor was kind of manure, chicken manure and goat manure. The second factor was plant spacing of 50 cm x 40 cm; 50 cm x 50 cm; 50 cm x 60 cm and 50 cm x 70 cm. The results showed that giving manure yielded the highest yield on height of plants, number of leaves, number of fruits per plant, number of fruits per m2, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per m2, fresh weight of stover per plant and harvest index. The spacing of 50 cm x 70 cm gives hight yield on the weight of fresh stover per plant. Different types of manure at different spacing gave the same results on all parameters observed.

Abstract

Perbanyakan stek tanaman anggur membutuhkan waktu lama untuk tumbuhnya tunas dan akar. Penambahan Rootone-F bertujuan untuk merangsang pertumbuhan akar dan tunas pada stek. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Rootone-F dengan konsentrasi dan lama perendaman terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman anggur (Vitis labrusca). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Agustus sampai 4 November 2022 di Desa Kebonrejo, Kecamatan Salaman, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan percobaan faktorial (4 x 5) yang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan dua faktor perlakuan dan diulang tiga kali sebagai blok. Faktor pertama konsentrasi Rootone-F yaitu 100, 300, 500, 700, dan 900 ppm. Faktor kedua lama perendaman Rootone-F yaitu 1, 2, 3 dan 4 jam. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi Rootone-F memberikan pertumbuhan yang sama pada tinggi bibit, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun, jumlah akar, panjang akar terpanjang dan persentase stek hidup. Lama perendaman stek memberikan pertumbuhan yang sama pada seluruh parameter pengamatan. Konsentrasi dan lama perendaman Rootone-F pada stek memberikan pertumbuhan yang sama pada semua parameter pengamatan.
