This study aims to (1) identify portrait of poverty in the remote area of ??Erpach, (2) portrait of poverty in the remote area of ??Soponyono, (3) identify poverty reduction efforts through social protection programs. The approach used is a qualitative approach, the type of research uses qualitative descriptive type. The results of this study indicate that the factors that cause poverty in the Erpach and Soponyono regions are the first structural and cultural poverty, the two education age communities do not have school motivation because of the distance and the difficult terrain, the third is the low skills of the community to manage potential in the area, the fourth is the lack of public education, the fifth part of the community lives around the forest and the coast. The mitigation efforts, first held the FGD (Focus Group Discussion), the second carried out the SAS social protection program (Peer Care) in cooperation with the village government with the local government, thirdly the skills training in managing the potential of the region in cooperation with the Cooperative and UMKM Office (Micro Business, Small and Medium) Banyuwangi district, and all four education programs are obliged to learn to cooperate with the Education Office

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna untuk mengetahui permasalahan tentang upaya kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu hafalan siswa program kelas unggulan Tahfidzul Qur`an di Madrasah Aliyah Al Amiriyyah Blokagung Banyuwangi dan mengetahui problematika dalam menghafal Al-Qur`an beserta solusinya.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta menggunakan teknik keabsahan data triangulasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut (1) Dalam meningkatkan mutu hafalan siswa, kepala madrasah memberikan bimbingan, motivasi, latihan-latihan, fasilitas pendukung, serta evaluasi untuk siswa Tahfidzul Qur`an di MA Al Amiriyyah. (2) Adapun problematika dalam menghafal Al-Qur`an yakni: hawa nafsu, manajemen waktu, permasalahan mood, hati dan malas. Dari problem tersebut menemukan solusinya yakni tidak banyak makan, mengurangi tidur, mengatur jadwal harian, menempel jadwal serta perbanyak berdzikir kepada Allah Swt. This study aims to: (1) To find out about educational facilities and infrastructure in MTs 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi 2018/2019 Academic Year. (2) To find out the performance of teachers in MTs 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi 2018/2019 Academic Year. (3) To determine whether there is an influence of educational facilities and infrastructure on the performance of teachers in MTs 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi 2018/2019 Academic Year. (4) To find out how much influence educational facilities and infrastructure have on teacher performance in MTs 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi 2018/2019 Academic Year. In this study using quantitative descriptive methods with the product momunt technique in the validity test and using regression techniques for data analysis. The population of this study was 45 teachers of MTs Negeri 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi. After analyzing the data collected, it was found that (1) Means and Infrastructure of MTs 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi were very good. (2) Teacher performance in MTs Negeri 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi is very good. (3) There is an effect of the application of management functions on improving the quality of teaching staff of MTs Negeri 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi. (4) the influence of educational facilities and infrastructure on the performance of teachers in MTs Negeri 4 Banyuwangi Sumberberas Muncar Banyuwangi by 39%.

The purpose in this study are: (1) To find out how is human resources of Madrasah Aliyah al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi 2019/2020 academic year; (2) To find out how the education quality of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi 2019/2020 Academic Year; (3) To find out what are the factors that can improve the education quality of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi 2019/2020 Academic Year; (4) To realize the contribution of human resources development a which applied in improving the education quality of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi 2019/2020 Academic Year. This research method uses descriptive qualitative, data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses interactive three models, while the data validity technique uses triangulation. Based on the clarification of inhibiting and supporting factors, the contribution of human resource development in improving the education quality of MA al-Amiriyyah Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi can be explained as follows: (1) Teacher Training based on the respective fields of expertise held by the Religion Ministry. The human resources quality of educators and educational personnel is one of the factors in improving the quality of madrasas, by the qualified human resources quality, it is expected to produce cadres quality. (2) Direction from the Head of Education and Boarding School Caregiver, this briefing aims to provide motivation to educators and education staff.

Improving the quality of education is one of the main pillars in building education in Indonesia, because if education is of good quality, it will produce intelligent and competitive human resources. In order to improve the quality of education it is necessary to organize one of them by providing educational program services that accommodate the needs of special students to optimize their potential. One of the forums for special students, one of which is the holding of an excellent class program. This study aims to determine the strategy in improving the quality of education through the excellent class program at SMP Plus Darussalam Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi. The subject of this research is the principal, WKS. The curriculum and the head of the excellent class dormitory are Al-Aziziyyah. This research method uses descriptive qualitative, data collection methods through observation, interviews, documentation, archival records and physical devices. The validity of the data uses credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The data analysis used is SWOT analysis. From the results of this study, the strategies used in improving the quality of education through the excellent class program at SMP Plus Darussalam Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi include: (1) There is a selective selection process, (2) Improving the quality of teachers, (3) The existence of a study club, (4) The existence of a special dormitory for superior students, (5) The existence of a mini library, and (6) Strengthening the plus value in the community both in terms of academic and non-academic.

Education is knowledge that every student must have. And educational institutions are required to have sarpras as stated in the minister of National Education Regulation No. 40 of 2008 concerning the sarpras standards for vocational high schools to support learning. The discussinon in this study is how the complementation of sarpras in SMK Darussalam according to Permendiknas No. 40 of 2008. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis techniques, reduction processes, data colleection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The methods used: Observation, Interview, Documentation. Research subjects: principal, WK. Sarpras, computer network engineering staff, and TU staff. The author concludes that the completeness and feasibility of sarpras in SMK Darussalam is in accordance with the Minister of National Education Regulation no. 40 of 2008 which includes land, building, and infrastructure atandards. As well as the implementation of sarpras in SMK Darussalam in accordance with the minister of National Education No. 40 OF 2008 covering the capacity of students, land area, completeness of practice rooms, special equipment, and general equipment.

Madrasah culture is a madrasah tradition that contains habits that grow and develop following the values adopted and established in madrasah. Character education is a form of effort that is designed and implemented as an effort to improve behavior/speech. Character education itself cannot be formed suddenly. It requires a long process. The process of character formation is one of them starting with habituation. This habituation is called culture. So, in order to form the intended character, it is necessary to build a positive culture in the madrasah environment. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Banyuwangi which has a research purpose: (1) To describe madrasah culture in MAN 1 Banyuwangi and (2) To describe character education and its integration in MAN 1 Banyuwangi. This research uses qualitative methods with qualitative descriptive types while data collection techniques are carried out using interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and inference or verification. Checking the validity is carried out with a triangulation system. Research informants are principals, religious teachers, BK teachers, and students. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of madrasah culture in MAN 1 Banyuwangi includes 8 things, namely wearing Muslim clothes, habituation of prayers jama’ah dhuha and dhuhr, reading dhikr before entering class, tadarus al-Qur'an before lessons, applying 3s (smiles, greetings, and greetings), habituation of adab, ma'had as a supporting madrasah, commemoration of Islamic holidays (2) Implementation of character education in MAN 1 Banyuwangi includes the values of instilled characters, integration of character education in the curriculum, integration of character education in the learning process, integration of character education in routine and extracurricular activities, integration of character education in culture and school environment.

The objectives of this study are 1). To determine the effect of the Principal's Managerial Skills on Teacher Performance in SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi, 2). To find out how much influence the principal's managerial skills have on teacher performance in SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with product moment technique in data validity test and to find data reliability using alpha formula, while in hypothesis testing using F test and T test using regression models. The population of this study were 42 SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi teachers. After analyzing that it was found that the Principal Managerial Skills were very influential on Teacher Performance in SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi as evidenced by the results of data analysis of 67.7% while the remaining 32.3% was influenced by other variables.

This research was motivated by an increase in the quality of students at MA Tahfidz Al-Qur'an in Sumbermulyo village, Pesanggaran Banyuwangi, since the leadership of the madrasah head Ahmad Jafarudin SE, previously the number of students was small, the quality of learning was still low and the image of MA Tahfidz Al-Qur'an in Sumbermulyo village Banyuwangi Pesanggaran which is now an escape school or exile school. The purpose of this study is to examine the efforts of the head of the madrasa in improving the quality of students as well as the obstacles and solutions at MA Tahfidz Al-Qur'an in the village of Sumbermulyo Pesanggaran Banyuwangi. This study used qualitative research methods. While collecting data by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, and draw conclusions. The sources of information in this review consist of important sources of information obtained from madrasa heads, homeroom teachers, and teachers and additional sources of information obtained from reports and photos about MA Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Sumbermulyo Pesanggaran Banyuwangi. The results of this study are that the head of the madrasa maximizes his duties in leading his institution, and the efforts of the head of the madrasa to improve the quality of students at MA Tahfidz Al-Qur'an include providing opportunities for teachers to improve their skills well and skilled, providing facilities and infrastructure so that the learning process runs more smoothly and generates student motivation, while a few obstacles such as discipline and student behavior can be overcome by providing understanding and the passage of time.
