Abstract

Konsep green building merupakan bentuk kepedulian dan respon dari isu perubahan iklim dan permasalahan lingkungan global diseluruh belahan dunia. Beberapa negara telah memiliki sistem ratingnya masing-masing, yang berfungsi sebagai standar acuan dalam penilaian konsep green building pada bangunan. Adapun tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk menguji, mengevaluasi serta menilai bagaimana bangunan The Curve Nx Malaysia dalam mengimplementasikan beberapa aspek green building berdasarkan referensi alat pemeringkatan Green Mark dari Singapura, serta rekomendasi smart technology untuk meningkatkan kinerja bangunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode assesment atau penilaian terhadap bangunan dengan kriteria dan aspek tertentu pada rating tools green building Singapura yaitu Green Mark dengan kategori Existing Non-Residential Building. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa setelah dilakukan pengujian, terdapat beberapa parameter yang masih belum memenuhi tolok ukur yang ada, seperti performa fasad dengan nilai ETTV yang sangat tinggi, penggunaan ventilasi alami yang minim, tidak adanya sensor karbon monoksida di area parkir, dan keterbatasan penggunaan ventilasi alami dan area hijau pada site dan bangunan. Sehingga rekomendasi teknologi yang diberikan diharapkan membantu dalam memenuhi parameter rating tools dan berperan dalam perbaikan lingkungan sekitar. The concept of green building is a form of concern and response from the issue of climate change and global environmental problems around the world. Some countries already have their own rating system, which serves as the reference standard in the assessment of the concept of green building in the building. The purpose of this study is to test, evaluate and assess how The Curve Nx Malaysia building in implementing several aspects of green building based on green mark rating tool reference from  Singapore,  as  well  as  smart  technology  recommendations  to  improve  building  performance. This  study  uses  the  method  of  assessment  or  assessment  of  buildings  with  certain  criteria  and aspects  in  the  rating  tools  green  building  Singapore  green  mark  with  category  Existing  Non- Residential Building. The results of this study found that after testing there were several parameters that still did not meet the existing benchmarks, such as facade performance with very high ETTV values, minimal use of natural ventilation, absence of carbon monoxide sensors in the parking area, and limited use of natural ventilation and green areas on sites and buildings. So that the technology recommendations given will help fill the parameters of the rating tools and play a role in improving the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The main materials used in producing interlock bricks are clay, sand, and cement as usually applied in the conventional process of making bricks. There is, however, a continuous reduction in the availability of these natural resources due to their non-renewability. Therefore, one of the materials with the ability to support the acoustic and thermal performance of buildings in architecture is plastic. Plastics are categorized as lightweight, non-breakable, non-corrosive, and resistant to weather. Moreover, there is no need for the production of new plastics for this purpose due to the global call for the use of plastic wastes based on their high economic value. Therefore, this research aimed to compile a study on interlock brick innovation using recycled plastic waste to support the acoustic and thermal performance of a building. This was conducted through a review of previous studies on the profile of interlock bricks produced from recycled plastic waste. The findings are expected to provide information on the efficient production of interlock brick innovation using plastic wastes as a component.

Abstract

Green building is a concept as a response to global urban heat island problems, water pollution and ozone depletion. The concept of green building has been applied in various tools, none other than GBCI with six categories. This paper evaluates the La Cucina building in Seoul with the aim of knowing the extent to which GBCI is implemented outside the region as it should be and knowing the constraints and advantages of the rating tool. The method used is to make a La Cucina building simulation with Archicad software then evaluate the calculations with exel, velux and look for the building material literature and match it in the greenship tool. The results obtained in the existing building OTTV values and natural lighting have not reached the GBCI target, while for environmentally friendly materials and fabricated materials, they have not yet been fully achieved. Therefore, it was retested in accordance with the initial recommendations and results. The final results of OTTV, natural lighting, environmentally friendly materials and fabrication materials as expected and successful. The conclusion and recommendation of this paper is that OTTV can be achieved by measuring shading and replacing glass materials which have low Sc Glass and Uv values. While in lighting, 30% of the space on each floor has natural lighting. For environmentally friendly materials and fabricated materials, it has been achieved, evidenced by the material and fabrication certification from the factory. Abstract

The air pollution problem had become a big problem for many cities in the world. In line with the rapid development of these cities, the concept of sustainability also continues to develop with various solutions to overcome existing problems. To solve the air pollution problem, the authors evaluated the selected building object, The Khabele School, to see the extent of the building's contribution to overcoming the air pollution problem.  The evaluation was carried out based on the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) certification system, the variables measured were biotope area factor (BAF), indoor air quality, daylight factor, and zero-carbon mobility. The results reveal that indoor air quality and daylight factors could meet the desired standards, while BAF and zero-carbon mobility had not met the standard. Based on theoretical and empirical studies, this paper discussed alternative design strategies, to improve the quality of the building, so that they can contribute more to overcoming air pollution problem.

Abstract

Sustainable development is development that can meet the needs of the present without reducing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Educational institutions have an important role in shaping the human character and the future of the world to implement sustainability systems. The Mohammad Hatta UII building is the object of study in research aimed at finding out how much the value of sustainability is applied in development and becomes information for the reader. Now there is an assessment tool that works to assess how high a building's sustainability value is. Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) with Greenship Tools was chosen to be an assessment tool to determine the level of sustainability contained in the object of study by modifying some of the criteria therein. In the assessment process the highest results were obtained in the Appropriate Site Development category where all available points were met, while the Water Conservation category did not get any points at all and the Building Environmental Management category was eliminated in the evaluation aspect. The results of the sustainability calculation based on Greenship criteria from the modified Greenship Existing Building assessment type on the study object obtained 52.94%. To increase points in the assessment will be given several recommendations in the form of design concepts that are expected to be used as a reference in improving facilities to support the value of sustainability in the object of study.Keywords: assessment, development, Greenship, sustainability

Abstract

Perumahan sederhana adalah bagian dari kelas perumahan yang memegang prosentasi besar yang harus diadakan. Usaha penekanan biaya mehyebabkan rumah kelas ini sangdt tergantung dari pengkondisian ruang untuk mencapai kinerja fisiologis secara alamiah. Permasalahan penghawaan pencahayaan yang menentukan kinerja fisiologis bertindak dari energi matahari. Sehingga perlu dan menarik untuk membicarakan keduanya. Pada pembahasan ini perumahan sederhana dibatasi pada perumahan sederhana pada kompleks perumahan terencana. Dari bahasan dapat disimpulkan secara umum bahwa perumahan terencana sederhana dalam mensikapi energi matahari selain melalui disain makro dan mikro yang tepat juga tergantung keberadaan system manajemen pengendalian pengembangan rumah yang terarah.
