<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the results of learning mathematics students class II SDN 002 Teluk Nilap KubuBabussalam by applying STAD cooperative learning model type with RME approach. The subjects in this studyare the students of class II SDN 002 Teluk Nilap Kubu Babussalam, with the number of students as many as 36people, while the object in this study is the application of STAD type cooperative learning model with realisticmathematic education (RME) approach to improve mathematics learning outcomes. This study was conducted intwo cycles, cycle I consisted of two meetings and one daily test and cycle II consisted of 2 meetings and one dailytest. In order for this classroom action research to work well without any obstacles that interfere with thesmoothness of the research, the researchers set up the stages in the classroom action research: planning /preparation of action, action execution, observation and reflection. Based on the results of the research, it isconcluded that the method used to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics students of class II SDN 002Teluk Nilap Kubu Babussalam on the subject matter of building space. The average of student learning outcomesbefore the action is categorized as low with the percentage of attainment of KKMnya 40%, while studentlearning outcomes after the action is categorized both with the percentage of KKM achievement of 75%, with100% success category of the number of students. This means that all students have achieved a predeterminedsuccess score (at least 75%). From the result of research indicate that student learning result in second gradeSDN 002 Teluk Nilap Kubu Babussalam mathematics can be improved through applying STAD type cooperativelearning model with RME approach.]]>
