Abstract

Emotional Intelligence reflects on how a knowledge will be applied and developed in a person’s life. A great leader is someone, who has a good Emotional intelligence and understand very well on how them personality will influences people in his organization.Emotional Intelligence has a great influens on someone’s leadership since an effective leadership is a leadership that has 4 emotional intelligence element’s. Those elements are :Self – awareness; Self – Management; Social – awareness; Relationship management Besides that, emotional intelligence also play role on the organization, because the organization where each members has a good emotional intelligence, will be able to work well and has a high productivity.

Abstract

This research aims on knowing the effect of giving Entrepreneurship courses in raising students’ interest to be entrepreneurs, by comparing between students’, who have already taken entrepreneurship course, interest and students’, who haven’t taken entrepreneurship course yet, interest using double regression test. We took 30 samples each from 2nd semester student, 4th semester student and 6th semester student. The result that we found is that there is effect of giving Entrepreneurship course in students’ interest to be entrepreneur, however it is low since each group’s result got Adjusted R2 less than 0.2. For 2nd semester student, even though they haven’t received Entrepreneurship course until they reach later year, they had ever received the subject when they were in high school. As for 4th semester student, they tend to like jobs which can give them regularly stable income guarantee (becoming employees). From this result, we can get information that the teaching method for Entrepreneurship course has to be accompanied by direct practice on the field so that the student can get clearer explanation about how to start a business (do entrepreneurship).

Abstract

The aims of this research is to know factors which influence company value with modal structure as the mediation on Development Property companies that are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Analysis method which will be used is Quantitative method by using Path Analysis with the help of SPSS ver.17. The results gained from the research showed that the Profitability factor didn’t have any influence on company value since the significant value is just 0.276, bigger than 0.05 and t-count value 1.110, less than t-table(2.045). Meanwhile, other factors like assets structure, Sales growth and Financial risk influenced the company significantly. It can be shown on t-count value from each of those factors (6.234, 2.351, and 2.461) which were bigger than t-table on alpha level 5% which is 2.045. By including Modal Structure as mediation variable, we gained a result that high modal structure is able to strengthen or moderate the influence of those factors on company values. From the research results, it is suggested that ; Firstly, If the company’s goal is improving the company value then the optimum modal structure deciding process has to be strived correctly. Secondly, Some factors, like Assets structure, Sales growth and Financial risk, are important to be paid attention on company values improvement efforts. And Lastly, for stockholder’s wealth, company value improvement is more important than profit improvement.

Abstract

A Conflict is a process began from someone’s assumption to certain person which later on can lead to a problem. The factors that can trigger a conflict can be classified into 3 categories, which are communication, structure and individual. The impact of a conflict on the organization or company performance can be seen according to the kind of the conflict itself. There are two kinds of conflict:-          Functional Conflicts are All kind of conflict that can support organization or company’s main objective in improving their performance, In other hand-          Dysfunctional Conflicts are all kind of conflict that may obstruct and block an organization or  a company in improving its performance.Because of the explanation above, a manager’s duty is on how he can recognize the conflicts so well that he can manage them so the conflict become beneficial for the performance improvement of the company or organization.

Abstract

Some companies, like PT. Telkom, PT. Garuda or some tourist object management companies, obviously need a big infestation for allocating satellite, distribution network, aero planes and some uninstalled utilities. When everything has installed or available, it leaves to the companies to think how to sell the pulses or the tickets as many as possible.It’s concerned that many companies which budget structures contain high fixed costs will face many risks ahead. Companies will be very sensitive to the changes, both in sales volume and the variable costs. These things have been undeniable anymore so that it becomes not relevant to be used as basic accounting in decision making. Instead of being worried by the risks, it’s better to make advantages from the risks itself. It can be done by improving the sales by some other ways; likes setting the more challenging price or fare; become more aggressive in promotion or wider the distribution.The more important thing is not just look on short term profits but also the more important is the long term profits.
