Abstract

Abstract: This writing is intended to know 1) students’ learning habit, and 2) the relation of students’ learning habit towards learning achievement. This research’s sample is student grade XII IS that totaled thirty students. The techniques of collecting data in this research are observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis for the first goal by using Likert scale and the second goal by using moment product correlation formula. the research’s result showed that the average score from students learning habit are a) items of preparing all the requirements at night with the score 3.52, b) concentration with the score 3. 35, c) reading and making notes with the score 3. 32, d) managing study time (study schedule) with the score 3. 31, e) revising lesson’s material with the score 3.2, f) being diligent in doing homework with the score 3.14, and g) being used to visit library with the score 2. 62. However, when viewed as a whole, the average score acquired 3.31 or it can be categorized medium. Furthermore, the relation between students’ learning habit and students’ achievement obtained t value ( 5. 958) greater than table t (2.0484) on significant rate 5 %. Thus Ha accepted and Ho rejected. Keyword: learning habit, students’ achievement
