Abstract

Lughawi Tafsir (Quranic Interpretation) explains the Holy Qur’an through semiotic and semantic including language, morphology, lexical, grammatical, and rhetoric.  This kind of interpretation has been used by Mufassir (experts in Quranic Interpretastion) to explain the verses of the Quran.  Since the Quran was written in a very high style of language, the mufassirs who applied this method should have capability with certain criteria.The Lughawi Tafsir appeared in 2nd and 3rd H, along with the integration of the Arabs and non-Arabians.  The fact that Arabic was no longer superior language of that time and the decrease of zaug ‘arabi (sense of Arabic), necessitated the Mufassirs to strengthen the language so that they could figure out the meanings of the Qur’an. The operational concept in explaining Lughawi Tafsir is done by presenting topics in the fields of nahu, sharaf, and balaghah together with their types and branches.Copyright © 2013 by Al-Talim All right reservedDOI: 10.15548/jt.v20i2.39

Abstract

The government has an important role in providing public services for its people. Every public service provider must have service standards. One form of standard public service is the service of developing facilities and infrastructure. Facilities and infrastructure development services can be divided into nine elements, namely service procedures, suitability of proposals, timeliness, complaint handling, implementing competence, provider competence, development quantity, development quality and development results. The research was conducted in Tanjung Piayu Village, Batam City by direct observation and filling out a questionnaire regarding community perceptions regarding facilities and infrastructure development services. Type of descriptive qualitative research. This study uses minimum service standards (SPM) and index analysis. The research sample was 80 respondents. The results of the research show that the facilities and infrastructure development services owned by respondents are considered to be in good condition, with a service unit IKM of 76.90. However, there is a mismatch between the results of the assessment and real conditions, there are three elements of services for the construction of facilities and infrastructure that are in poor condition, namely timeliness, service procedures, and construction quantity. So, There is a need for re-management of existing facilities and infrastructure development services in order to further improve the quality of public services provided.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the implementation of Islamic studies learning methods at the Islamic High School (STAI) Madrasah Arabiyah (MA) Bayang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The research focus includes three main learning methods applied, namely textual-contextual methods, problem-based learning, and collaborative learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with analytical descriptive methods, with data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews with 5 lecturers and 15 students, as well as documentation studies. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results show that the implementation of learning methods at STAI MA Bayang is integrative and adaptive, by combining the three methods according to the characteristics of the course. The textual-contextual method is effective in developing a comprehensive understanding of religious texts, problem-based learning is successful in improving analytical skills in dealing with contemporary issues, and collaborative learning encourages active learning through interaction between students. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and diversity of student backgrounds, institutions have succeeded in overcoming them through various development programs and utilization of learning technology.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan implementasi metode pembelajaran studi Islam di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Madrasah Arabiyah (MA) Bayang, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Fokus penelitian meliputi tiga metode pembelajaran utama yang diterapkan yaitu metode tekstual-kontekstual, problem-based learning, dan collaborative learning. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan 5 dosen dan 15 mahasiswa, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode pembelajaran di STAI MA Bayang bersifat integratif dan adaptif, dengan memadukan ketiga metode sesuai karakteristik mata kuliah. Metode tekstual-kontekstual efektif dalam mengembangkan pemahaman komprehensif terhadap teks keagamaan, problem-based learning berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan analitis dalam menghadapi isu kontemporer, dan collaborative learning mendorong pembelajaran aktif melalui interaksi antar mahasiswa. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan keragaman latar belakang mahasiswa, institusi berhasil mengatasinya melalui berbagai program pengembangan dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran.
