Abstract

This study aims to evaluate effectiveness of health education on public perception and knowledge regarding the use of garlic extract to reduce cholesterol in Suco Seloi Malere Aldeia Namanei Posto Administrativo Aileu Municipiu Aileu in 2024. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach. Data was collected from the community in Suco Seloi Malere Aldeia Namanei Posto Administrativo Aileu Municipiu Aileu in 2024 through questionnaires before and after being given health education. Before education, 62% of respondents had moderate knowledge; After education, 64% of respondents had high knowledge about the use of garlic extract to lower cholesterol. Before education, 60% of respondents had a moderate perception; After education, 62% of respondents showed an increase in perception to high perception. Before education, 38% of respondents had little experience, after education, 98% of respondents had good experience regarding the use of garlic extract to lower cholesterol. Before education, the majority of respondents (60%) had a secondary education level. After education, the proportion of respondents with a secondary education level remained stable at 60%. Before education, 40% of respondents felt a high cultural influence regarding the use of garlic extract. After education, this figure increases to 70%. The health education provided is effective in increasing public knowledge and perception regarding the use of garlic extract to lower cholesterol.

Abstract

Kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas dianggap masyarakat sebagai profesionalisme kerja oleh seorang tenaga kesehatan. Tuntutan masyarakat akan terpenuhi jika pemberi layanan memiliki propesionalisme yang tinggi dan mampu mempertahankan citra dan kinerja yang memenuhi standar pelayanan. Disiplin kerja juga mempunyai kontribusi terhadap kualitas pelayanan keperawatan yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada produktivitas kerjanya.Tanpa ada dukungan disiplin yang tinggi dari karyawan, perusahaan atau organisasi sulit untuk mewujudkan tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Karakteristik individu merupakan bagaian dari faktor demografi yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku individu, termasuk perilaku disiplin dalam bekerja yang terdiri dari umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, lama kerja, dan status perkawinan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa hubungan antara karakteristik individu dengan tingkat disiplin kerja di Puskesmas Ajang Kabupaten Sukamara.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi didalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Puskesmas Ajang Kabupaten Sukamara dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling.Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah tidak ada hubungan antara usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan dan status pernikahan terhadap tingkat disiplin kerja karyawan (p>0.05).Saran dari peneliti adalah disiplin karyawan di Puskesmas tetap dipertahankan walaupun dengan jarak tempat tinggal karyawan ke Puskesmas yang tidak dekat, tetapi dengan menjaga berangkat tetap lebih awal sehingga tidak melanggar disiplin.

Abstract

The globalization era is a development era in all sector, one of them is the rapiddevelopment ofthemediaandwithin easy reach. In very rapid development give positive and negative impact.The negativeimpact, arisingfrom the development ofadvancedmediafor teensisgetting easierto find information, especiallyabout sexisconsidered to bea new thingfor teenagers. In can increase premaritalsexrate isincreasingeveryyear. This research aims to know the effect of adolescent’s health education about the sexinformation on premarital sex perception in SMK Nagara district of Kedunggalar Ngawi regency.Research design was Non Eksperimen – one group pre intervensi and post test design. The population wasall adolescents in class 10 of SMK Nagara district of Kedunggalar Ngawi regency as many as 200 studentsand the samples were 133 students. The data collection technique used was Proportional simple randomsampling. The independent Variablewas the effect of reproduction health education of adolescent about sex,while the dependent was the premarital sex perception. The instruments used in this research wasaquetionaire, data processing used by Editing, coding,scoring,tabulating,analisa bivariat,univariat and testedby wilcoxon.The result obtained that before being conducted health education the adolescent’s perception on premaritalsex was most positive 73 respondents (54,9 %) and after being conducted health education the adolescent’sperception on premarital sex became negative was 86 respondents (64,6%). It was obtained p value 0,002 <0,05so Ho rejected and H1 accepted which means that there is an effect of health education about sexinformation on premarital sex perception.

Abstract

The study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A total of 18 scientific articles from 2013–2025 were selected from the Scopus database, consisting of eight in vitro studies, four in vivo studies, and one clinical trial. Data extracted included the type of fermentation substrate, microbial composition, fermentation duration, and biochemical parameters related to glucose regulation, antioxidants, SCFAs, and α-glucosidase/α-amylase enzyme inhibition. The synthesis results showed three main pathways of kombucha's antidiabetic activity: (1) increased antioxidant activity (SOD, GSH, catalase), (2) regulation of gut microbiota and increased SCFAs that improve insulin sensitivity, and (3) inhibition of carbohydrate digestive enzymes by up to 83%. Substrate variations and fermentation duration of 7–14 days affected the levels of polyphenols, organic acids, and flavonoids. Clinical studies showed a 30% reduction in fasting blood glucose levels after four weeks of kombucha consumption. Kombucha has been shown to work through a synergistic multi-pathway mechanism involving biochemical and microbial activity in lowering blood glucose levels. These findings strengthen kombucha's potential as a natural fermented nutraceutical agent for glycemic control. Further research is recommended to conduct long-term clinical trials and metabolomic analyses to more precisely map the microbial-bioactive-glycemic response relationship.
