Abstract

Eko Mulya Tua, David responses in facing struggle: The study of Psalm 3:1-9. One of the problems that everyone often face is the difficult situation in their life. They are a problem of the future, job and also about marrige partner. The important point of the problem is not about how big the problem is, but its about the way of believers face that problems. King of Daud gives a real example to face that problem. Through his story of life to face the problem, there are some principles that can be applied for believers to face the problems. Eko Mulya Tua, Respon Daud Dalam Menghadapi Pergumulan: Studi Terhadap Kitab Mazmur 3:1-9. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh setiap orang percaya maupun yang tidak percaya yaitu situasi yang sulit dalam hidupnya, baik pergumulan tentang masa depan, pekerjaan, maupun jodoh (pasangan hidupnya). Aspek yang terpenting di dalam sebuah pergumulan, bukan seberapa besar pergumulan atau permasalahan yang dihadapi melainkan sikap hidup orang percaya dalam menghadapi pergumulan. Raja Daud memberikan sebuah contoh yang konkrit dalam menghadapi situasi yang sulit. Melalui kisah hidup yang dialami oleh Raja Daud dalam menghadapi pergumulan hidupnya, ada sebuah prinsip-prinsip yang dapat diterapkan bagi hidup orang percaya dalam menghadapi pergumulannya.
