Abstract

Abstract. Understanding the concept of science must be carried out with a process of doing it yourself, especially on learning materials related to science chemistry or science physics. In the study of Heat Transfer in Class V SDN Rembang 2, Sananwetan District, Blitar City, in the 2020/2021 academic year, it can be seen that there are still many students who do not understand the concept, so the results obtained in completeness are less than 35% of the total number of students. This is because students in this learning year do online learning, and teachers do monotonous learning so that it does not attract students. Based on the results that are still lacking, a research is conducted on learning science content in class V. The research used is a qualitative research on science learning with the type of Class Action Research (CAR). Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The method used to solve problems in learning Heat transfer is the experimental method, which is a way of teaching and learning that involves students by experiencing and proving themselves the process and results of the experiment which are closely related to everyday life.

Abstract

Abstract: Mathematics is a universal science that underlies the development of modern technology, has an important role in various disciplines and advances the power of human thought. In Class V SDN Rembang 2, Sananwetan District, Blitar City, learning Mathematics still requires appropriate methods so that students can solve mathematical problems in their own way with the correct answers. The results obtained by class V in learning Mathematics for Debit material still obtained a very low completeness score. Of the 27 students who can solve Debit questions, only 10 students or 37%, while the limit for the completeness value is 75. As a result of such learning, the teacher conducts research using the Open Ended method, namely learning that allows students to develop a mindset according to their interests and abilities. the ability of each in various solutions and various answers. Abstrak: Matematika merupakan ilmu universal yang mendasari perkembangan teknologi modern, mempunyai peran penting dalam berbagai disiplin dan memajukan daya pikir manusia. Di Kelas V SDN Rembang 2 Kecamatan Sananwetan Kota Blitar, pembelajaran Matematika masih memerlukan metode yang sesuai agar siswa dapat memecahkan permasalahan matematika berdasarkan caranya sendiri dengan jawaban yang benar. Hasil yang diperoleh kelas V dalam pembelajaran Matematika materi Debit masih memperoleh nilai ketuntasan yang sangat rendah. Dari 27 siswa yang dapat menyelesaikan soal Debit hanya 10 siswa atau sebesar 37%, sedangkan batas nilai ketuntasannya adalah nilai 75. Hasil belajar demikian maka guru melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Open Ended, yaitu pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan pola pikir sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuan masing-masing dalam berbagai penyelesaian dan jawaban yang beragam.
