Abstract

The importance of self-discipline for everyone, especially new teenagers, will form a complete personal pattern in developing their potential. This study aims to improve student discipline through the application of Group Guidance Services. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research method. The study population numbered 45 students, the total sample of 10 students selected by simple random sampling technique. This research uses an instrument in the form of a discipline questionnaire with a Likert scale type. Data were analyzed through T-test. The results showed that from the initial test data, the average discipline attitude of students was 86 and after being treated in the form of group guidance services, the average discipline behavior of students increased to 132.5, the increase in discipline attitude was 46.5 points. The results of implementing BK assessments based on group guidance services have a significant positive impact on student discipline.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru bk dalam meningkatkan pengendalian emosi siswa melalui program layanan bimbingan kelompok agar siswa bisa mengoptimalkan pengembangan potensi dirinya kearah yang lebih positif. Strategi yang ditawarkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan program layanan bimbingan kelompok, menyusun desain rencana pelaksanaan layanan (RPL) bimbingan kelompok. Sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah SD UNIVA Al Washliyah. Dengan target luaran yakni guru bimbingan konseling mampu membuat program layanan bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan pengendalian emosi siswa sehingga dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya kearah yang lebih positif.

Abstract

The research has the objective of knowing the effect of group guidance services with problem-solving techniques on student assertiveness in making career choices. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research method, where from a population of 30 people, a sample of 10 people was taken by simple random sampling. Student assertiveness in making career decisions is 59.1 and after giving group guidance services the post-test = 88.7 is obtained. This means that the average score of students' assertiveness in making decisions about choosing a career was higher after being given group guidance services than before being given group guidance services, the assertiveness of students in making decisions about choosing a career was 29.6. The results of the implementation of group guidance services with problem-solving techniques on student assertiveness have a significant positive impact on the decision to choose a career.

Abstract

Adapun yang menjadi permasalahan dalam pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah: (1) Guru belum memahami tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dalam bimbingan kelompok dalam mencapai perubahan dan perkembangan dimasa Pandemi Covid-19, (2) Guru belum mengetahui cara mempermudah pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok tanpa harus bertatap muka secara langsung, (3) Guru belum mengetahui cara menggunakan media google meet dan cara pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok online. Adapun solusi dan luaran yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah: (1) Melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi untuk memberikan pemahaman bagi guru agar mengetahui pemanfaatan teknologi dalam bimbingan kelompok dimasa pandemi Covid-19, (2) Memberikan informasi dan pemahaman kepada guru mengenai pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok tanpa harus bertatap muka secara langsung, (3) Memberikan pemahaman dan cara penggunaan kepada guru mengenai media google meet dan mensosialisasikan cara pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok online, (4) Artikel ilmiah yang akan dimuat dalam jurnal nasional tidak terakreditasi, surat kabar cetak/online dan prosiding seminar nasional, (5) Laporan beserta dokumentasi (video) kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Kesimpulan yang dapat diperoleh dari pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah Kegiatan sosialisasi ini berjalan dengan lancar dan sesuai dengan yang telah direncanakan oleh tim PKM beradasarkan hasil observasi oleh Tim PKM. Selain itu, kegiatan sosialisasi ini juga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru MTs. Swasta IKIP Al Washliyah mengenai pemahaman guru terhadap layanan bimbingan kelompok online melalui media google meet.

Abstract

Current developments require all aspects of life, one of which is in the field of education, so that they can carry out transformational changes in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0. This situation is what made the government change the education system so that educators can improve their performance as teachers, including counseling teachers, so they can implement guidance and counseling services that are oriented towards the industrial revolution 4.0. This research aims to find out whether information services through audio-visual media can be effective in increasing understanding about education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 among Mts Lab IKIP Al Washliyah Medan students. This type of research is quantitative research with the population being 60 students in class VIII MTs Lab IKIP Al Washliyah Medan. Sampling used a random sampling technique which received as many as 30 students. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire. The questionnaire used in this research is an educational questionnaire in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. with statistical data analysis. In this research, the data obtained shows that rcount is greater than rtable, namely 0.490 > 0.361 and has led to a better increase than before. This is known from the results of the t test which shows that tcount > ttable or 16.304 > 2.042. This shows that information services through audio-visual media can influence students' understanding of education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0

Abstract

This research aims to find out how students' emotional regulation is studied in psychology. The period of emotional development of students in their teenage years is a transitional period that is very vulnerable and requires guidance to be able to control emotions. Emotions are a very dangerous mental disorder. We will discuss several important aspects, including the types of emotion regulation strategies commonly used by students, campus environmental factors that influence emotion regulation, and the impact of emotion regulation on students' psychological well-being and academic achievement. Students often face complex academic, social, and emotional stress in the campus environment, so their ability to manage their emotions is critical to their well-being and academic success. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research were students at the Indah Medan College of Health Sciences. The results of the analysis using observation techniques. Through this research, it is hoped that there will be a better understanding of the role of emotional regulation in students' lives, as well as practical implications for the development of coaching and intervention programs in higher education environments.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the social relations of pharmacy students which have been seen to be inharmonious. With the development of information technology, they interact more often with their gadgets and make the classroom environment seem foreign to all of them. This is what makes researchers interested in doing research. This research was conducted at STIKes Indah Medan, pharmacy study program with a total sample of 10 people. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test using a Likert scale questionnaire instrument with the hypothesis tcount = 7,626, while the ttable value with d.b = N – 1 = 10 – 1 = 9 at the real level = 5 % obtained by 2.262. So that tcount > ttable or 7,626 > 2,262. Based on this, it can be stated that group counseling services can improve student social relations
