Abstract

The Center for Research and Community Service is a unit that manages the fields of research and community service. So far, the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M) at the Dhar-ma Bakti Lubuk Alung Foundation STKIP manages data on research activities and community service using Microsoft Access, which is entered into the database. Therefore, a web-based research and community service center application for the Dharma Bakti Lubuk Alung Foundation was built using the PHP programming language and database processing using MySQL. The application development method used is the waterfall method. GTMe-trix will be used as software testing to evaluate the performance of this application. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the PIECES analysis model. The application performance evaluation Center for Research and Community Service received a grade A, indicating that the application was running "very well" based on the results obtained from all pages tested using GTMetrix. The results of the analysis of the level of satisfaction of users of the Center for Research and Community Service applications obtained a value of 4.4, which means that the level of user satisfaction can be categorized as "very satisfied."

Abstract

Performance is the level of success achieved by a person in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as well as their ability to achieve the goals and standards that have been set. Teachers' performance is evaluated on a regular basis at each school. Teacher performance evaluation is carried out to identify flaws in task execution and to gain an overview of the results to be achieved in the future. So far, teacher performance appraisal is done manually, which is very difficult and time-consuming and feels less objective. Therefore, a fuzzy-based assessment system needs to be designed so that it helps in making decisions more quickly, precisely, and objectively. Rules are designed and tested using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method, which is implemented through the Matlab Toolbox software. To produce a more accurate performance rating, more membership function output is needed so that a more accurate performance rating can be produced.

Abstract

In this research, data collection and processing of sales of electronic goods were carried out with CV. Berkah Elektronik. The data obtained is then aggregated with the K-Means algorithm to gain knowledge about which electronic products are selling well on the market and which are not. In this study, the clustering method was used with Tanagra 1.4.48 software, and the K-Means algorithm was used as an algorithm to draw conclusions about which items were selling well and which were not inputted, namely product prices. goods and sale of goods. And from the results of testing and manual testing with the Tanagra application, the same clusters are produced, namely, products that do not sell well (Cluster_KMeans_1) and products that sell well (Cluster_KMeans_2).

Abstract

Autism is a type of mental disorder that can affect children as young as three years old, but can affect children from birth. This mental disorder is characterized by social relationships, culture, verbal and non-verbal communication, imagination, and a single attractive object. By using the Autism Disorder Diagnostic Expert System, we hope that most people will be able to attempt an autism diagnosis without an expert. This system works by answering all system questions. The "forward chaining" method is a way of drawing conclusions that starts with facts and tests hypotheses toward conclusions. To test the hypothesis, begin matching facts or statements with IF. The forward chaining method searches for a solution to a problem. The forward chaining inference and breadth first search methods were used to design this system, as well as Microsoft Access for database management systems and Visual Basic Language Programming. The expected outcome is that all users, particularly parents, will be able to easily assess the possibility of their child developing autism symptoms from an early age. The output of the system is whether there is a possibility of autism in a child based on the facts and symptoms given to the system.

Abstract

The library is one of the institutions that provides services, both traditional (borrowing and returning) and modern (digital). Therefore, the library is important to be able to provide the best service for users. In relation to the digital ecosystem and the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, where the library user model is a virtual community, libraries need to provide innovative services, one of which is the application of the concept of library automation and visitor experience. This paper aims to explain the concept of library automation and visitor experience and its application in libraries during the fourth industrial revolution. The method used to explain these objectives is a descriptive method with observational data collection methods and literature reviews using various scientific reference sources, both printed books and electronic books, articles, and news. The results of this paper show that the application of the concept of library automation and visitor experience in the library can be done in five ways. The first is understanding real customers from digital users; the second is rearranging the strategy from a traditional base to an experiential basis; the third is the latest management and service models; the fourth is individuals and work culture; and the fifth is being aware of human and ecological issues.

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain information about the effectiveness of using the SLIMS-based library automation system by librarians at the Tanah Datar District Public Library and to identify the obstacles encountered in its use. In this study, descriptive research was combined with a qualitative approach using the SLIMS-based library automation system by librarians at the Tanah Datar District Public Library and to identify the obstacles encountered in its use. In this study, descriptive research was combined with a qualitative approach. Based on research findings, the effectiveness of using the SLIMS-based library automation system at the Tanah Datar District Public Library in various forms of library activities includes the procurement and processing of library materials, fast circulation processes, and librarian satisfaction with the use of the SLIMS-based library automation system. Based on indicators measuring the effectiveness of implementing the SLIMS-based library automation system, such as data security, time, accuracy, relevance, variety of reports, physical comfort, information quality, and information technology, it is proven that, after using the SLIMS-based library automation system, library management and services to users as a whole run more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

AbstrakPokok permasalahan dalam artikel ini adalah melihat sejauh mana kompetensi pengelola perpustakaan dalam melayani siswa tunagrahita di Perpustakaan SLB Negeri 1 Lima Kaum Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi pengelola perpustakaan dalam melayani siswa tunagrahita di Perpustakaan SLB Negeri 1 Lima Kaum. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Penjaminan keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik, sumber dan waktu. Hasil penelitian di Perpustakaan SLB Negeri 1 Lima Kaum menunjukkan Kompetensi personal diperoleh melalui pendidikan, pengalaman, dan bersifat kepribadian. Kompetensi manajemen ialah pengelola perpustakaan belum maksimal membuat dan mengevaluasi program kerja sama perpustakaan hanya mengetahui dari keikutserta pelatihan atau diklat kepustakawanan. Kompetensi pendidikan dengan membantu atau melayani akses informasi mengarahkan kepada siswa yang datang ke perpustakaan. Kompetensi ilmu pengetahuan dari segi pendidikan pengelola perpustakaan bukan latar belakang ilmu perpustakaan tetapi mengetahui dan mempraktikkan pengelolaan di perpustakaan hanya mengikuti pelatihan dan kompetensi pelayanannya sudah bagus. Kendala pertama, kompetensi kepribadian dalam berkomunikasi masih menggunakan bahasa daerahnya masing-masing, bahasa Indonesia kurang digunakan saat berkunjung ke perpustakaan. Kedua, kompetensi manajemen. Ketiga kompetensi pendidikan ialah pustakawan sudah memiliki gelar S.1 akan tetapi bukan dari program studi ilmu perpustakaan. Kompetensi pelayanan yaitu mengayomi siswa dalam melayani pencarian bahan pustaka sampai selesai karena koleksinya kurang lengkap. Serta kendala yang dialami terdiri dari kendala teknis: Terbatasnya waktu, dana dan tenaga pengelola perpustakaan sekolah maka proses kegiatan yang di perpustakaan juga terbatas. Pengelola tidak berlatar belakang ilmu perpustakaan. Kendala non teknis: Kompetensi pengelola terhadap pelayanan Perpustakaan SLB Negeri 1 Lima Kaum mengenai kemampuan dalam mengelola perpustakaan, fasilitas kurang memadai, anggaran atau dana dan sebagainya belum terlaksana dari awal berdiri perpustakaan sekolah. Upaya perpustakaan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan perpustakaan sekolah untuk siswa tunagrahita yaitu kompetensi pengelola perpustakaan melalui pendidikan dan ilmu pengetahuan, tenaga perpustakaan mengikuti pelatihan atau diklat dan webinar dibidang perpustakaan dari segi koleksi pihak sekolah menyediakan buku-buku bergambar menciptakan dan mempengaruhi minat baca anak untuk berkunjung ke perpustakaan.
