Abstract

ABSTRAK Bayi prematur adalah bayi yang lahir < 37 minggu. Kelahiran prematur adalah penyebab utama kematian bayi baru lahir (bayi yang hidup dalam 4 minggu pertama kehidupannya). Perawatan bayi prematur berbeda dengan perawatan bayi cukup bulan, kondisi tubuh bayi prematur menjadikan beberapa sistim organ belum sempurna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam pengalaman ibu merawat bayi prematur di rumah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pengambilan data dengan teknik wawancara secara mendalam dan pertanyaan terbuka. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah delapan orang ibu yang merawat sendiri bayinya di rumah. Hasil yang diperoleh terdapat tiga tema yang dihasilkan yaitu timbul perasaan negatif, perawatan harian yang dilakukan, dan memperoleh dukungan dari berbagai pihak. Keterlambatan ibu untuk memulai interaksi dengan bayi berakibat terganggunya peran sebagai ibu. Disarankan ibu mendapat dukungan dan informasi dari tenaga kesehatan selama dirawat di rumah sakit agar percaya diri merawat bayi prematur di rumah. Bentuk dukungan moril, finansial dan informasi sangat membantu ibu dalam merawat bayinya di rumah Kata kunci : Bayi Prematur, Merawat, Pengalaman ABSTRACT Premature babies born under 37 weeks. Premature birth is the main cause of death for newborns (babies who live in the first 4 weeks of life). Caring premature baby different from term baby, because some organs system not yet perfectly. This Study aims to find out how mothers experience caring for premature babies at home. This study uses qualitative designed with data collection within deep interview techniques and open questions. Participants in this study were eight mothers who care for their babies themselves at home. The result obtained is three themes produced, namely negative feelings, daily care, getting support. The mothers' commitment to begin interaction with the baby resulting in disruption of the role of mother. It is recommended that mother get support and information while caring for premature babies at home. Forms of moral support, financial, and information are very helpful for mothers in caring for their babies at home. Keywords: Premature babies, caring, mother experience

Abstract

Online game problems being a global concern because of the risk of having a negative impact in school-age children. Game online addiction is the excessive use of computers or video games due to urges that cause social or emotional problems. This research aims to identify the relationship between online game problems and learning achievement in senior high school students in Jakarta. This research is a quantitative study with a Cross-Sectional approach. The sampling method uses a technique of purposive sampling. The number of respondents in this study was 95 senior high school students at x public school, Central of Jakarta. The result of the bivariate analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between online gaming problems and learning achievement of a high school students in Jakarta (p-value = 0.242). The implication of this research shows that online gaming problems are not the only factor that can affect the learning achievement of high school children. The other factors that are likely to influence children's learning achievement include self-motivation, family social support, and the school social environment. Recommendation for parents to supervise their children in using gadgets and the school can strengthen the rules for using gadgets in schools.

Abstract

Hyperbilirubinemia is increased levels of bilirubin in the blood, which is on the mark with icteric. The condition can lead to prolonged hyperbilirubinemia kernicterus that is the state of the damage to the brain due to adhesions of bilirubin levels in the brain. This research aims to know the description of bilirubin levels decrease with the use of a Billy Blanket in neonates at X hospital Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive analytic with quantitative design. This research population numbered 60 respondents. The sampling techniques used are the total sampling. The secondary data were obtained from patients’ medical records and were analyzed through an analysis univariate to find out the frequency distribution of characteristics and decreased neonates bilirubin levels using Billy Blanket. Majority of respondents characteristic sex male were 51.7%, respondents was born at ≥ 37 weeks gestational age were 73.3%, respondents aged 2 days were 40% and all of the respondents have BBL≥2500 grams. The results showed that levels of bilirubin after using a Billy Blanket for 24 hours and 48 hours of 100% of the respondents have the levels of bilirubin > 10 g/dl during the 72 hours while most respondents 51.7% had levels of bilirubin 5-10 g/dl. The use of a Billy Blanket may be considered to be one of the nursing interventions nursing care so that more optimal.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a depiction of food security needed by the body. The impacts due to the incidence of malnutrition and overnutrition experienced by children under five years are worrying. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the nutritional status of under five year children in Pustu Oebufu, Oebobo Sub-District Kupang City in February 2018. The research type used was observational analytic with the cross-sectional design approach. The population were children under five years who were in the service coverage of Oebufu Pustu work area. The sampling technique was purposive and the sample size was 136 mothers who had a child under five. The study found 73.5% of under-five children had normal nutritional status. The statistical test results showed that there is a relationship between education (p=0.015), knowledge (p=0.000), and food supply such as energy intake (p=0.000), protein (p=0.000), fat (p=0.000), carbohydrate (p=0.000), vitamin A (p=0.000), vitamin C (p=0.000), calcium (p=0.002), iron (p=0.000) and zink (p=0.000) with nutritional status (p-value < 0.05). Parent involvement, especially mothers, is closely related to the nutritional status of under five year children. Mothers should have good knowledge of nutrient intake for children under five.

Abstract

Application of nesting is one of the independent actions of nurses in helping newborns adapt to their new environment. Nesting can be applied to all newborns regardless of birth weight or gestational age. This study aims to evaluate the application of nesting on infant weight and vital signs at X Hospital Jakarta. This study involved 318 samples with purposive sampling technique, pre-experimental research design one group pre posttest design. Data obtained from medical records. Data analysis used paired T test, which showed that there was a change in the baby's weight on the nesting application (p value= 0.014), there was a change in vital signs on the nesting application (HR (p value =0.000); RR (p value =0.000); SaO2 (p value = 0.000)). The application of nesting is beneficial for newborns, namely maintaining the stability of the baby's vital signs, and increasing body weight. The recommendation that can be given is to maintain the application of nesting as a baby care needs.

Abstract

Thalassemia patient should undergo a repeated treatment, so it causes side effects on his health both physically and psychologically.The most common psychological problem suffered by the patient is the decreasing of self efficacy which affects the attitude and mindset of children with thalassemia.The purpose of this research is to find out the 6-18 years old children self efficacy portrayal with thalassemia on hospital X, West Jakarta. The research design used in this research was quantitative descriptive and cross sectional approach and questionnaire with interview as the instruments. The sampling technique used is total sampling with the number of sample of 50 children, conducted on January 2019. The data analyses used were shapiro wilk normality test and frequency distribution test. The result showed that 62% including 6-12 years with 60% female sex, respondents who underwent therapy <10 years as much as 52% with early age diagnosed at <1 year as much as 38%. Self efficacy was high in the 13-18 year age group as much as 63.2%, self-efficacy on the general aspects in the 6-12 year age group (58.1%) and 13 18 years old (57.9%) were categorized good, self efficacy on the aspects of strength in the 6-12 year age group (74,2%) and 13-18 year old (73,7%) were categorized good and a high selfefficacy on the aspect of level in the 13-18 year age group as much as 63,2%.It is recommended that children with thalassemia can control their self efficacy every day as an effort to maintain their health.
