Hasil: Indeks Massa Tubuh Ibu preeklampsia tidak berhubungan dengan luaran perinatal antara lain kelahiran prematur, IUGR, asfiksi, BBLR dan komplikasi dini Kesimpulan: tidak ada perbedaan luaran maternal dan luaran perinatal pada berbagai Indeks massa tubuh ibu preeklampsiaAbstract Background and purpose : Preeclampsia is a problem of the pregnancy complications that has the highest maternal mortality in East Java. Preeclampsia with body mass index of obese mothers will increase the deterioration in maternal and perinatal outcomes. This study aims to analyze the body mass index of preeclampsia mothers with maternal and perinatal outcomes. The sample consisted of preeclamptic women in all categories of body mass index such as underweight, normal, overweight, obesity grade I,II, and III. The perinatal outcomes observed are perinatal death, preterm birth, Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), asphyxia, low birth weight, Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), sepsis, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), and Intraventricular Hemorrhage (IVH). Results: There is no significant association between body mass index of preeclampsia with perinatal outcomes. Which include preterm birth, Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), asphyxia, low birth weight and early complications Conclusion: there were no difference on maternal and perinatal outcomes in all categories Body mass index of preeclamptic women

Abstract

Abstract Background: Long Acting and Permanent Contraceptive Method (LPAMs) is a highly effective contraceptive method consisting of IUDs, implants, tubectomy, and vasectomy. The low use of LPAMs has caused various efforts made by the government to increase the use of LPAMs. Contraceptive counseling is an effort to improve the use of postpartum LPAMs. Objective: This study aim to determine the differences in contraceptive counseling with Contraception Decision Making Tool (CDMT) and verbal counseling on the knowledge of third trimester pregnant women regarding LPAMs. Method: This study was a quasi experimental study consisting of 2 groups, the treatment group in the form of contraceptive counseling with LPAMs and the control group in the form of verbal counseling. Sampling used accidental sampling each group of 35 people, a total of 70 respondents. The independent variable in this study was contraceptive counseling; the dependent variable were knowledge regarding LPAMs. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis (Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann-Whitney Test). Results: The value of knowledge experienced a significant increase in the treatment group (74.3%) in the good category, while the control group (62.9%) in the good category. The effect of intervention on knowledge was obtained by Mann-Whitney test of significance p = 0,000 (p <0.05). Conclusion: There were significant differences in knowledge in the treatment and control group between the pretest-posttest. There was a significant difference between CDMT and verbal counseling in knowledge of pregnant women about LPAMs, so that counseling with CDMT was more effective than verbal counseling.

Result: Knowledge p value = 0,025 r = 0,182. Income p value < 0,001 r = 0,368. Eating frequency p value < 0,001 r = 0,721. The amount of food p value < 0,001 r = 0,738. The kind of food p value < 0,001 C = 0,443. Physical activity p value = 0,438.
