Abstract

The objective of this research is to see the impact of the price, product quality, and brand image on the decision to buy “Minoso” bag in Shopee among students of STES Islamic Village. The research uses three independent variables: price (X1), quality product (X2), and brand image (X3) and one dependent variable: decision to buy (Y). The population are the students of four said institutions.  With the purposive samping, there are 90 respondents. This research applies the descriptive quantitative method with multiple linear regression to test the impact of three independent variables observed on the only one dependent variable observed. To support the data analysis, the research makes the best use of SPSS 26 for windows. The research results show that partially X1 (price) and X2 (quality product) do not influence Y (the decision to buy) significantly while the brand image influences Y significantly.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and determine the improvement in student learning outcomes after applying the Discovery Learning Model to fraction material in class V elementary school. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) or classroom action research. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 097092 Medan. The subjects of this research were class V students at SDN 067092 Medan, consisting of 23 people. To collect data in this research, researchers used observation, provided test instruments and carried out documentation. The use of the Discovery Learnin model in mathematics learning about fractions in class V at SD 067092 Medan was carried out in 2 cycles. From the research results, it is known that in cycle I, of the 23 class V students at SD 067092 Medan, 10 students received an average score above the KKM. Meanwhile, 13 other students did not get a score above the KKM. In cycle II, out of 23 class V students, 20 students got an average score above the KKM. Only 3 students in class V at SD 067092 Medan, the other students did not get a score above the KKM. There was an increase in the learning outcomes of class V students at SD 067092 Medan by 34.86% in cycle I, namely from 26% at the time of observation to 60.86% at the end of cycle I. From the end of cycle II there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes, namely 60.95,%. From 26% at the time of observation to 86.95% at the end of cycle II. From these results it can be said that the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in fraction material in class V elementary school

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of income tax and firm size on the capital structure of coal mining companies, whether moderated or not by sales growth. A quantitative approach was used in this study by taking samples from 13 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018–2023. Multiple linear regression analysis was used with the help of the application Jeffry’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP). The research results show that the income tax has no significant effect on capital structure. In contrast, the firm size has a significant positive effect on the firm’s capital structure. Moreover, the sales growth is unable to moderate the correlation between these variables on the firm’s capital structure.
