According to Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani about the currency exchange has been associated with Sharf activities. Sharf practice only in buying and selling, while riba occur in buying and selling. Therefore, the currency exchange is a transaction that allowed accordance in Islam laws accordance with certain which have been described by the syara’. People just have passions and always felt shortcomings in accordance with the nature and characteristics never satisfied, so the transactions are allowed difficult to found, because the benefits are minimum, so riba practice is often happen. This reseach focused the Currency Exchange on Riba according to Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani. This is library research. It is which conducted by collecting data from the literature. Source of data obtained through the study of books, magazines, journals and other publications related to the research problem. Analysis of the data of study by using content analysis, which analyzes the data according to contents. While the method of data analysis used the inductive method. The author tried to analyze how thinking Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani in understanding about riba and currency exchange. The conclusion is understood by Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani about riba in currency exchange. Based on results of the reseach by Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani Exchange allowed appropriate with Islamic law. However, the currency exchange with foreign currency has been allowed as well as the exchange between various types of currency countries.
