Abstract

This article aims to know about how humans find a way to achieve their true Self. People with all their limitations try to understand what the real goal of life is. The goal of human life is not only to seek the happiness they feel by obtaining everything they want in this world, but that is actually beyond the earthly happiness. The goal is to achieve moksha or unite the Self (Ātman) with the Creator or God (Brahman). Another term also mentioned is that Ātman achieved liberation or release; The Ātman is free from all worldly attachment and escapes from the cycle of rebirth (punarbhawa). The efforts to achieve this ultimate goal are made by raising self-awareness towards godliness awareness which in this article is termed by achieving self-realization. This article uses the approach of literature studies with the philosophical methods, which is the interpretation about concept of self-realization by contemplating towards absolute voidness with the perspective of the holy scripture Vijñàna Bhairawa.

Abstract

God is the object of science, in Hindu knowledge says that God is the main and first source of knowledge. Studying the scriptures is the main way in revealing knowledge about God. The purpose of this research is to find knowledge about God in the text Bhuwana Sangkṣepa. The benefit is to open up the insights and courage of academics in interpreting sacred texts. This research is a library research with qualitative methods. The approach used between a combination of two frameworks is called the theo-philosophy. This text provides knowledge about God who is the Source of All, Transcendent God (God Beyond/Far from Human Understanding), God in Nirguna Brahma Terminology (Formless/Unmanifest), Transcendent-Immanent God (God is closer to understanding Humans), Nir-Saguna Brahman Terminology of God with Symbols (Nyasa), Immanent God (in consciousness or in the human mind). And then God in the Saguna Brahma Terminology (Manifested God) which includes the form of Gods (Sarva-Nama Rupa), God sink in the universe (macrocosm) and God resides in the Human Self (microcosm).

Abstract

Eschatology is a teaching that seems new in Hindu religious nuances, a term that is not yet popular but widely applied in society, there are various texts that describe the teachings of this eschatology, one of which is the Tutur Gong Besi text. The Tutur Gong Besi text is a text that describes this process in a comprehensive manner. details, starting from the stage of the ceremonial process, which consists of Nanem, Ngaben to Ngeroras, then the time of the ceremony which involves the calculation of Sasih and its formulation using Hindu or Wariga astrological systemics. to the qualification of the pemuput which specifically describes the competencies that a religious leader should have in presiding over the ceremony. It is hoped that a detailed description of the text will serve as a guide for the Hindu community to understand the dimensions of belief in life after death.
