Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap (PLTGU) Unit Pembangkitan Semarang salah satu jenis pembangkit yang diharapkan menopang kebutuhan energi listrik. Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) peralatan yang memiliki prinsip kerja seperti boiler, sumber energi dari gas buang turbin gas yang memiliki temperatur tinggi. Permasalahan yang timbul pada HRSG adalah terjadinya kebocoran pipa yang beakibat pada efisiensi HRSG. Dengan Overhaul yaitu mengganti pipa, pembersihan dinding tube, dan isolasi HRSG, dan pluging tube, maka overhoul berdampak pada penurunan temperatur rata-rata logaritmik (LMTD) dan kenaikan panas Q HRSG. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dampak penurunan temperatur LMTD terhadap unjuk kerja HRSG sebelum dan sesudah overhaul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptip dengan melakukan studi kasus di PLTGU Tambaok Lorok Unit 2 Semarang. Data-data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian diambil langsung dari CCR PLTGU Tambak Lorok Unit 2 Semarang. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh hasil bahwa setelah kegiatan overhoul mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan perbedaan temperature LMTD, dan menaikan jumlah panas pada HRSG. Terjadinya penurunan perbedaan temperature LMTD HRSG akibat kegiatan overhoul akan mengakibatkan efisiensi HRSG meningkat, sedangkan kenaikan panas Q HRSG setelah overhoul akan meningkatkan efisiensi HRSG.

Abstract

The Semarang Gas Generation and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU) is one type of combine cycle which is expected to support electricity needs. Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) is a device that has a working principle such as a boiler, without the need for additional fuel, an energy source from exhaust gases that have high temperature gas turbines. The problem that in HRSG is the occurrence of pipe leakage which results in the efficiency of HRSG. With overhaul, namely replacing the pipe, cleaning the tube wall, and isolating the HRSG, and plugging the tube, the overhaul has an impact on decreasing the logarithmic mean temperature difference (LMTD) and increase heat Q the impact of efficiency HRSG. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of decreasing LMTD temperature on HRSG performance before and after overhaul. The research method used is descriptive method by conducting a case study in the PLTGU Tambak Lorok Unit 2 Semarang. The data needed in the study was taken directly from the CCR of PLTGU Tambak Lorok Unit 2 Semarang. The results of the analysis showed that after overhaul activities resulted in a decrease in the difference in LMTD temperature and increased the amount of heat in the HRSG. The decrease in the difference in LMTD HRSG due to overhaul activity will result in increased HRSG efficiency, while the increase in heat Q HRSG after overhaul will increase the efficiency of HRSG

Abstract

The performance of a boiler determined by the quality of coal as its fuel, influenced by its calorific value, moisture content, ash content, nitrogen, and carbon. To be use according the boiler specifications, the plant blends coal to get the heating value according to specifications. This study simulates the effect of mixing the coal heat value and load on the boiler performance The coal used is MRC a heating value of 5041 kcal and LRC a heating value 4920 kcal, with a blending ratio of 10:90; 20: 80; 30:70; 40:60 and 50:50. The coal blending used method the Canterper approach, and the boiler efficiency uses standard the ASME PTC 4-1. The results research, that most optimal mixing a ratio of 40: 60 and 50: 50, a calorific value of 4999 kcal/kg. The efficiency boiler increase in proportion to the increase in the calorific value. The boiler efficiency highest at ratio mixture of 50:50. The boiler efficiency highest is 85.94% and minimum is 85.25%. Value characteristics specific coal consumption to decrease proportionally to increase calorific value, the value lowest specific consumption at a mixture ratio of 50:50. The value SFC lowest is 0.465 kg/kWh and the highest is 0.479 kg / kWh. The value calorie higher, the lower the amount of specific coal consumption

Abstract

In accordance Regulation the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries No /MEN/2011, each ship crew must have certificate competency experts for fish storage refrigeration. Before, participating in the competency test, each participant must possess knowledge and skills according to the competency standards of level 1 refrigerators. Partner activity is SMK Negeri 1 Tangerang Districts, which a study program Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (TPPU). Curriculum design has not yet been studied specifically accordance regulations for Refrigeration Experts KKP. This education and training one the solutions to prepare graduates will take the competency certificate. The training be carried out within 3 (three) days, the material refers to regulation certification of refrigeration regulations level 1 KKP. Training is given in form of theory and practice. The pre-test, post-test and evaluation of feedback from participants. The number of participants of the training as 30 consisted of 4 graduate and 26 students of SMK N 1 class XII, Program Study TPPU. From the pre-test and post results, there was 31.12% increase in knowledge about refrigeration system according to competency standard the AR-1 KKP, and from feedback participant that this training activity positively had impact on increasing the competency and expertise participants

Abstract

Green Village (KRL) is one of the programs to realize Bogor Green and Clean Regency. KRL Berani Asri RW 15 Cileungsi Kidul was formed to carry out the production, management and utilization independently. Has several problems such as environmentally friendly awareness, not yet optimal waste management, the economic potential of organic and non-organic waste. P2M Mechanical Engineering Study Program IT PLN aims to provide alternative solutions so that KRL Berani Asri is independent in waste management. The method of implementation is socialization, training on waste management, composting, and making plastic chopper machines. The results of the P2M are 67.8% of resident have knowledge about waste management, 61.7% have good waste management behaviour, and 53.8% of residents say that KRL Berani Asri does not yet have waste management infrastructure. The use of appropriate technology has an impact on increasing compost production from 50 bags to 200 bags per week, and the production of plastic that has been sold from 10 kg to 100 kg per week
