Abstract

Results of chemical composition analysis and EDS (Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy) on waterwall tube boiler, Unit 3 EVAL Lampung2x100 MW power plant, has mengalamikorosi showed early (initial corrosion), and observed the chlorine element content of 0.48%, which spurred the initial padapermukaan corrosion inside diameter of the tube waterwall. This indicates that there has been a difusitas chlorine on the surface of the waterwall tube diameter, which is the cause of the onset of corrosion on the waterwall tube, after the vines and get in on the inside and spread to the other side. This confirmed the results of an electron microscope photograph with magnification 1000X and 1500X. Most likely the difusitas chlorine process is caused by chlorine dissolved in the raw water boiler.

Abstract

Belt conveyor is a device used to transfer coal combustion chamber (furnice) in Steam Power (power plant). In the Indramayu power plant conveyor conditions in the field often occurs over tracking the conveyor belt and the belt results in the termination of coal burning. A voltage that is too large will cause the working of the belt conveyor to be heavy so that it can lead to broken shaft and idler pulley. While the voltage is too small to make the cause of the conveyor belt out of the track resulting in slippage into the pulley. The voltage on the conveyor belt must be known with certainty to prevent failed operations on the conveyor. In this case penlis will analyze the voltage for each operating capacity of belt conveyor C4 using the standard CEMA (Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association) 6th Edition, 2002. So with the proper voltage, the operation of conveyor C4 can walk normally.

Abstract

Gas Removal System at the Center for Geothermal Plant (PLTP) plays an important role as Non Condensable exhaust gas (NCG) in the condenser, to keep the condenser pressure remains low. Therefore steam expanded in the turbine will be condensed by water that is on the condenser.
