Abstract

In the combustion chamber of PLTU UBOH Banten 3 Lontar uses the waterwall tube (waterwall tube) for heating water to produce high pressure steam and turn a turbine, the heating of them used the principles of radiation and koveksi. Therefore, a problem often encountered is thinning and leaking waterwall tube. Depletion problem waterwall tube is a very urgent issue to be addressed immediately. In this study, the writer focused on the observation and analysis of material failure in the main area of ​​the tube wall material. The writer intends to conduct testing of waterwall tube material with Metallography testing process. The objective of test is to determine the layer thickness and the chemical elements that there is in the material and visual observations of the surface after cleaning which is to determine the level of damage that occurs in the depletion that is caused by shotblasting.

Abstract

Operation of Steam Power (power plant) is highly dependent on the thermal efficiency as a reliability parameter unit. PJB is required to operate and maintain the power plants with world-class quality standards, and is able to maintain the efficiency of the work unit to keep it in optimum condition. In this study used a method in which the actions of this method has the objective to develop the skills, checking, analysis and influence the fuel consumption of the primary to the efficiency of Paiton # 2 due to the application of the inspection work at high pressure heater is no.7.The goal of operate back HPH 7 performance optimal, and calculate the rate of heat transfer coefficient on the concession system.

Abstract

Condenser is one of the important tools in PLTGU Pond Lorok. Condenser is a heat exchanger that serves to condense the steam turbine output becomes condensate water which would then be circulated back into water filler with sea water as coolant medium. The increase in condenser pressure showed a decrease in the performance of the condenser. Therefore it is necessary for cleaning the condenser. Cleaning the condenser in the online condition can be done in an effort to lower the condenser pressure. From the condenser cleaning results during March and April condenser pressure can be lowered by 1.1 mmHg Abs - 4.3 mmHg Abs. With the reduction in the condenser pressure of ± 4 mm Hg Abs then the power turbine will rise by 1 MW, it indicates that the unit more efficient.
