Abstract

Background: Boyolali Regency is one of the areas prone to landslides because it contains Mount Merapi and has a steep topography. Many villages are located at the foot of Mount Merapi and Merbabu, one of which is Ngagrong village. Ngagrong Village and SD N 2 Ngagrong are one of the villages supported by PMI Boyolali Regency. Because they are located in areas prone to landslides, researchers want to know the knowledge and level of preparedness, especially elementary school students. Objectives: To determine the relationship between knowledge and the level of preparedness for landslides among elementary school students in Ngagrong village, Gladagsari subdistrict, Boyolali district. Method: This research design uses descriptive correlational with a cross sectional approach. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire. The population in this study was 97 students at SD N 2 Ngagrong. The sample in this research was 51 students in grades 4, 5, 6. The data was processed using the SPSS program for univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate with the Spearman's rho correlation test. Result: The research results show (1) The level of students' knowledge of disasters is in the good category as many as 51 people (100%). 2) The level of student preparedness for landslides is included in the very prepared category as many as 51 people (100%). 3) There is a significant relationship between knowledge and the level of preparedness for landslides among elementary school students in Ngagrong village, Gladagsari subdistrict, Boyolali district with a significance result of 0.02 (p<0.05). The strength of the correlation between the two variables is included in the sufficient category with a coefficient value correlation of 0.416. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and the level of preparedness for landslides among elementary school students in Ngagrong village, Gladagsari subdistrict, Boyolali district.

Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Hipertensi berkepanjangan dapat menyebabkan perdarahan yang timbul akibat tekanan tinggi di otak sehingga menyebabkan stroke. Prevalensi hipertensi di Kabupaten Boyolali sebesar 28,5% atau sebesar 219.000 penderita. Penatalaksanaan pasien hipertensi dilaksanakan secara farmakologi dan non farmakologi. Penanganan non farmakologi yang secara prinsip lebih murah dan terjangkau, kurang diterapkan oleh masyarakat, terutama menggunakan jus belimbing dan rebusan daun alpukat.Tujuan : Mengetahui perbandingan pengaruh jus belimbing dan rebusan daun alpukat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi di Kadus 1 dan 2 Desa Metuk. Metode :  Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasy experiment design, dengan pre test and post test with comparation group. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 30 responden, terdiri dari 15 responden dengan intervensi jus belimbing dan 15 responden dengan intervensi rebusan daun alpukat, dengan teknik purposive sampling.Hasil : nilai Mean sistol dan diastol jus belimbing 139,33 dan 80,67. Mean sistol dan diastol rebusan daun alpukat 142 dan 78,67, dengan nilai p value sistol 0,62 dan diastol 0,417. Simpulan : Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok jus belimbing dan rebusan daun alpukat, keduanya sama sama perpengaruh untuk menurunkan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik. Nilai  effect size untuk sistol 0,18 dan diastol 0,42 termasuk kategori rendah. Hasil dari uji Efeect Size menunjukkan jus belimbing memiliki pengaruh lebih rendah terhadap penurunan tekanan darah dibandingkan dengan rebusan daun alpukat.Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, jus belimbing, rebusan daun alpukat.COMPARISON OF THE EFFECT OF STAR FRUIT JUICE AND AVOCADO LEAF DECOCTION ON BLOOD PRESSURE REDUCTION IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS IN METUK VILLAGE ABSTRACTBackground: Prolonged hypertension can cause bleeding due to high pressure in the brain causing a stroke. The prevalence of hypertension in Boyolali Regency is 28.5% or 219,000 patients. Management of hypertensive patients is carried out pharmacologically and non pharmacologically. The principle of non-pharmacological treatment which is cheaper and more affordable is less applied by the community, especially using star fruit juice and avocado leaf stew. To see the effect of star fruit juice and avocado leaf decoction on blood pressure reduction in hypertensive sufferers.Objective: To determine the comparison of the effect of star fruit juice and avocado leaf decoction on blood pressure reduction in hypertensive patients at Kadus 1 and 2 Metuk Village.Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design, with a pre-test and post-test design with a comparison group. The study used a sample of 30 respondents, consisting of 15 respondents with starfruit juice intervention and 15 respondents with avocado leaf intervention, using purposive sampling technique.Results: The mean systole and diastole values of star fruit juice were 139.33 and 80.67 and for the mean systole and diastole of avocado leaf decoction 142 and 78.67, with a systolic p value of 0.62 and diastole of 0.417 so that there was no significant difference between Star fruit juice group and avocado leaf decoction have the same effect on reducing systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The effect size value for systole is 0.18 and diastole 0.42 is included in the low category. So it can be abbreviated as star fruit juice has a lower effect in lowering blood pressure.Conclusion: There is no effect between star fruit juice and avocado leaf decoction on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. However, the results of the Efeect Size test showed that star fruit juice had a lower effect on blood pressure compared to avocado leaf stew.It is hoped that hypertension sufferers can consume avocado leaf decoction as a treatment to reduce high blood pressure.Keywords : hypertension, star fruit juice, avocado leaf decoction.
