Abstract

Reboisasi is a musical works that is inspired by the surrounding environment that was once beautiful until the occurrence of illegal felling of trees and the desire to try to replant using the medium of expressing Gender Wayang as the main instrument as well as the addition of four flute instruments and one Tungguh Gong Pulu as supporting instruments. Reboisasi is an innovative musical composition which tends to explore new ideas or ideas even though it is still guided by existing traditional elements. In using panggul as a bat, Reboisasi's musical work uses one panggul which has two functions simultaneously, namely the stylist modifies the gendered panggul in the developmental part of the panggul by adding rubber on the surface that forms a semi-circle, by combining two different styles between Sukawati and Kayumas which aims to find different nuances of sound as well as in the technique of playing the technique of the kumbang atarung which in its processing plays fast, hard and suddenly soft techniques by rotating the panggul using the panggul on the rubber part.

Abstract

Catra Patra is a creation of percussion percussion using the gamelan Semara Pagulingan Saih Pitu as a medium of expression. The theme raised in this work is beauty, this theme is chosen because tedung has various kinds of beautiful ornaments, the theme is adjusted to the structure of the work so that it can become a unified whole, the theme is adapted to the structure of the claim so that it can become a single unit. intact. This work is divided into three stages which are taken from the concept of Alma M. Hawkins in the book Creating Trough Dance that the arrangement of a work of art is achieved through 3 stages, namely exploration, improvisation, and forming. These three stages are applied in the process of cultivating the percussion percussion created by Catra Patra. The purpose of writing the composition of the composition of the percussion created by Catra Patra is to convey the author's ideas to the community. The form and structure of this work consists of three basic concepts, namely tri angga (head, body, and feet), the head in this case is called pengawit, the body is the crew, while the feet are pushers. In each section there is a connector/transition (penyalit) that supports beauty to become a unified whole, in the third section it is formed from several patterns such as gineman, kekebyaran, bapang, and gegenderan.

Abstract

Makules' musical works are based on a phenomenon where composers in Bali, especially those in the setting environment, in the Tabanan area, in creating new musical compositions are more dominant in processing musical elements such as rhythm, melody, dynamics, and harmony. Few composers work on timbre or timbre. From this phenomenon, the stylist gets inspiration to do something different. Obsession leads to abstraction of thought with an interest in processing sound color, creating a new impression by modifying timbre or sound color as the direction of creation. Therefore, a musical work in the form of experimental music was made with the title Makules. The meaning of the title Makules is seen from the word Makules which means changing skin, where the stylist uses the title according to its meaning which means changing skin.
