Abstract

Non-Tax Revenues are the total of government revenues that are not sourced from general taxation, in which revenue from natural resources become one important source. Manokwari regency has natural resource and coal potentials, that is expected to drive local economy through the utilization of its non-tax revenues. This research aims to calculate the potentials and effectivity of non-tax revenues sourced from mining activities in Manokwari regency. The findings show that non-tax revenue potential is approximately IDR 43.7 billion in 2014, and increases just over IDR 57 billion in 2015. Nevertheless, effectivity of the non-tax revenue derived from mining activities in Manokwari is zero percent, which means ineffective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Break Even Point of mining of sirtu at PT. Klawafun Alam Lestari Provinsi Papua Barat. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Break Even Point shows the point where income is equal to cost. Intended costs are variable costs and fixed costs. Where fixed costs consist of capital costs and labor costs, while variable costs consist of production costs. From the results of data collection and calculation, the fixed cost is Rp. 9,501,158,600 and variable cost of Rp. 48,972/m3, at the selling price of sirtu Rp. 150.000/m³. From the analysis, Break Even Point of mining of sirtu is obtained when the minimum mining production reaches 94,045 m³/year with an income of Rp. 14,106,720,810.07/year.

Abstract

Location quotient (LQ) is a technique used in determining a base sector in an area. This analysis is needed in regional development planning which is closely related to the economic policy of a region. The basic sector is a sector that has great potential in determining the direction of development. The purpose of this study is to estimate or identify which sectors are the base sectors reviewed based on the 2015-2020 GDRP. From the results of the study, based on GDRP there are 15 sectors that are the base sector of the existing 17 sectors, and two of them are non-base sectors. The non-basic sectors include the mining and quarrying sector, and the manufacturing sector.

Abstract

Linkage analysis is a method used to understand the economic structure of a region. This analysis can also be used to figure out how much influence a sector has on other sectors based on the input and output tables for each sector. This research was conducted to analyze the forward and backward linkages of the mining and quarrying sector to the electricity and gas procurement sector in West Papua Province, both directly and indirectly. The data used in this research is sourced from the West Papua Province Input Output Table Domestic Transactions Based on Producer Prices 2016 Updated 2021. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method. From the results of this research, it was found that the value of backward linkages in the mining and quarrying sector was more significant than the value of forward linkages, both directly and indirectly, to the electricity and gas procurement sector. Thus, the mining and quarrying sector requires more output from the electricity and gas procurement sector as input, compared to the electricity and gas procurement sector's need for the output of the mining and quarrying sector.
