Abstract

The rapidly growing number of elderly people in NTT and dementia provinces is the most common cause of cognitive problems which are a major public health problem in the elderly. Nutrition plays a role in the aging process, but still lacks knowledge about the risk factors associated with nutrition in cognitive diseases. Research in this field evolved over the last period and resulted in subclinical deficiencies in important nutrients (antioxidants such as vitamins C, E and b-carotene, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, folate) and related related nutrients, such as hypercholesterolemia, hypriacylglyceremia, hypertension, and diabetes can cause several factors related to nutrition before increasing cognitive problems. The purpose of this discussion is to see a picture that becomes a factor that gave rise to cognitive theory, nutrition in the elderly and stimulation provided based on relevant studies. The method used uses secondary data conversion that is verified and assessed for a significant assessment of the specific cognitive assessment of dementia in old age and nutritional factors that can inhibit the incidence of dementia. Some therapies are used to protect cognitive elderly with brain gymnastic therapy, group stimulation therapy (TSK) and music therapy. These three therapies are important for preventing cognitive elderly. Drug therapy for Alzheimer's cognitive disease does not yet exist, need risk factors for cognitive impairment need to be early and not continued in the aging process.

Abstract

Abstract

Bookkeeping and administration are needed as a forum for a group of people, including farmer groups. Bookkeeping is a recording process that is carried out obligatory and regularly in accumulating all types of data and information about finances consisting of liabilities, income, assets, costs and capital. The total value of the gift and income of goods or services, ends with the preparation of daily cash and a ledger in the form of a balance sheet, as well as a profit and loss statement for the period of the year as described in Law Number 28 of 2007 Article 28. Regarding the bookkeeping as described in the Act, it emphasizes on all entrepreneurs about the importance of bookkeeping. Because the bookkeeping in the company's internal is the main basis that becomes the foundation of the accounting system. In the recorded accounting system, the company's financial movements can be known in detail. Bookkeeping and administration, the main tasks and functions of the Tourism Manager in Sembalun NTB, are a form of community service. This assistance aims to train farmers so that the management of bookkeeping and administration operations is properly recapitulated. The method used in this service activity consists of five months of observation, socialization, and direct assistance. As a result of this community service, participants were able to understand how to book and administer tourism in Sembalun, West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract:  Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is a major environmental hazard linked to erythema, photoaging, and skin cancers. While synthetic UV filters such as oxybenzone and octinoxate are widely used in commercial sunscreens, their potential for irritation, allergic reactions, and hormonal disruption raises safety concerns. This study aimed to develop and evaluate a sunscreen formulation using Syzygium aqueum (water apple) leaf extract, a plant rich in flavonoids, tannins, and phenolic compounds with antioxidant and UV-absorbing activity. The extract was obtained via maceration with 96% ethanol and incorporated into four cream formulations: a control without extract (F0) and three with 1%, 3%, and 5% concentrations (F1–F3). Physicochemical properties, pH, sun protection factor (SPF), and irritation potential were assessed. All formulations showed uniform consistency without phase separation, with pH values ranging from 6.3 to 6.6, which are suitable for topical application. SPF analysis revealed a concentration-dependent increase, from 7.0 in F0 to 18.0 ± 1.2 in F3, indicating enhanced photoprotective capacity. Irritation testing on  rabbits showed no erythema or edema across all samples, confirming dermatological safety. Overall, the incorporation of S. aqueum extract significantly improved UV-protective activity while maintaining skin compatibility. These findings highlight the potential of S. aqueum as a safe and effective natural sunscreen ingredient and support its application in the development of botanical-based cosmetic products.
