Abstract

In learning English, speaking is one of the most important skills for students. Especially for students who still have strong feelings, these students will have difficulty learning to speak English.Talking is about putting ideas into words about perceptions, feelings and intentions to make others catch the message conveyed. From the results of the paired sample t test analysis shows that sig. the value is 0.000. Lower than the significance level (α) = 0.05 with degrees of freedom (df) = N-1 and the number of subjects (N) is 20 students. According to the value of sig. (2-tails) is 0.000. Given the basic concept of testing the hypothesis that if sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than (α) = 0.05, meaning that the hypothesis (H1) is accepted while the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of video media on the speaking skills of class XII students of MA Al-ihsan Deket Lamongan

Abstract

The aim of this study were 1) to develop students' listening comprehension by using video materials in the Advanced Listening course and 2) to evaluate students' attitudes towards the use of video materials in learning advanced listening courses. The sample of the student population for this study was 21 third semester students of English Education Study Program of Billfath University. This research was conducted for one semester. One group pretest-posttest design was implemented in this study. The instrument used in this research is a test. The data from the test was then analyzed using the T-Test to determine the T-value. The scores from the pre-test and post-test can be evidence of whether there is an increase in student scores after a study is carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine how the use of picture series media to write narrative text skills. Subjects were students of class VIII PK MTs. Ma’arif NU Nguwok. The research used is a pre- experimental quantitative research using serial picture media in improving the ability to write narrative texts for class VIII PK MTs. Ma'arif NU Nguwok with 21 students. The instrument used in this research is a narrative text writing test sheet with the help of a series of pictures. Based on the results of study, concludes that picture series media to improve students' writing skills in daily life is effective for improving students' writing skills. From the analysis of research data, it can be concluded that the students' writing ability in the 2020/2021 school year is good. This is evidenced by the average value of the percentage according to aspects of 80.47% with good criteria.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum focuses on essential material and on developing the character of the Pancasila Student Profile. The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning where the content will be more optimal so that students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. In the learning process, teachers have the freedom to choose various learning tools so that learning can be tailored to the learning needs and interests of students. In this curriculum there is a project to strengthen the achievement of the Pancasila student profile. Then, it is developed based on certain themes determined by the government. The current project does not aim to achieve certain learning achievement targets, so it is not tied to subject content. Before the curriculum is implemented, regular reviews are needed to find out whether the dynamics of development in the scientific fields are outlined and curriculum developers need to carry out a careful analysis and then draw up a plan. learning by determining models and organizing learning strategies and implementing them into the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM).
