Abstract

The Islamic banking has demonstrated its superiority in the storms of the world monetary crisis of 1997-1998. But in its development of Islamic banks is still a alternaif in stimulating the economy and society can not become the main actors. The objective of this article is to study the reviewing results of related research publications in international journals of Islamic banks. The method used library reseach and analized descriptively. It can be concluded that it was found that Islamic banks have not been efficient, the Muslim community has realized that religion is the reason for the selection of banks different from the non-Muslim societies. On the whole Muslim community and non-Muslims to make the quality of service by the employee and the proximity of service facilities into consideration in choosing a bank. While non-Muslim society makes the interest rate becomes an important reason in saving money or making deposits in banks.

Abstract

The purpose of study was to determine the effect of product quality and price on the decision to purchase a private car. Study used a survey method with judgment sampling technique, and the number of samples that met the criteria were 100 respondents, and there were 92 respondents who filled the questionnaire. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and measurements using the Linkert scale. The data processing and analysis techniques were descriptive statistical analysis, and multiple linear correlation regression analysis. The results showed that the average product quality score (X1) was 4.04 and  price (X2) was 3.89, then purchase decision (Y) was 4.04. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained multiple linear regression equation = 3.644 + 0.240X1 + 0.403X2 . From the classical assumption test, no violations were found, so the regression is Best Linear Unbiased Estimator (BLUE). The results of analysis of determination (R2) obtained the Adjusted R square value of 0.482. Based on the results of the partial hypothesis test (t test) the product quality variable (X1) is 0.000 <0.05, so partially it has a significant effect on the decision to buy a private car. The significance value for price variable (X2) is 0.000 <0.05, so partially it has a significant effect on the decision to buy a private car. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing (F) obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so product quality and price simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for private cars. Keywords: Product Quality; Price; Buying decision

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify and describe the role of culture and strategic choices in achieving competitive advantage for companies. The research methodology uses a systematic literature review that includes international journals that discuss strategic management. From several journals, an analysis was carried out and a common thread was drawn to get a scientific understanding related to the topic and title of this article. The results of the study indicate that in doing business across countries, it is very necessary to understand the right culture so that the company's presence can be accepted by the community. Companies can achieve competitive advantage by applying the right strategy to the right industry structure or by combining strategies and resources. Companies can implement strategies as needed and do not have to imitate all strategies, for example, companies in Japan only apply Porter's two strategies, the most of which are overall cost advantages, while the second is differentiation, while others use the original Japanese strategy.   Keywords: Business strategy, competitive advantage, and company

Meanwhile, the level of employee discipline also has an impact on the individual's performance. This research aims to understand the impact of compensation and work discipline on the performance of PT employees. Betawimas Brilliant. The research method uses a survey method where the population in this study is PT Betawimas Cemerlang employees, totaling 40 people. Data processing and analysis techniques use the SPSS program. The results of this research state that compensation does not have a significant effect on employee performance, but work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, as well as simultaneously stating that the results have a significant effect

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on outsourced employee performance. This study uses a survey method. The research variables are motivation and work environment as independent variables, and employee performance as the dependent variable. The research population is outsourced employees, the number of samples is determined by the Slovin formula. The sample selection was carried out by incidental samples. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, and measurement with a Likert scale. Processing techniques and data analysis include descriptive statistical analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis, determining the multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it can be interpreted that motivation (X1), work environment (X2), and employee performance variables (Y) are classified as good. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, a multiple linear regression equation is obtained Ŷ= -0.016 +0.470 X1 + 0.341 X2. From the classical assumption test, the regression shows that the regression model is the Best Linear Unbiased Estimator (BLUE). The adjusted R-square value is 0.759, meaning that the ability to explain the independent variables, namely motivation and work environment on the employee performance variable (Y) is 75.9%, and the remaining 24.1% is explained by other variables not examined. Partially test the hypothesis that the motivational variable (XI) has a significance value of t = 0.000 <0.05, partially having a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Variable X2 has a significance value of t = 0.001 <0.05, which partially has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Simultaneous hypothesis test results (F test), obtained a significance value of F of 0.000 <0.05, then the motivation variable (XI), work environment (X2) simultaneously has a significant effect on employee performance (Y).
