<![CDATA[Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasinya yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 90 orang. Sampel yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 dengan masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa untuk dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang ditentukan dengan cara cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematis. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney yang digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching. Dimana hasil yang diperoleh dari uji pada taraf = 0,05 tersebut yaitu Zhitung = -3,482 dan Ztabel = -1,96 menunjukkan bahwa Zhitung ≤ Ztabel maka H0 ditolak. Artinya rata-rata dan rangking terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika antara kelas eksperimen I dengan kelas eksperimen II berbeda. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching. ABSTRACT This research is a quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental type of research. The population is all students of class XI IPA totaling 90 people. The sample used by the researcher is class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 with 30 students each to serve as an experimental class determined by cluster random sampling. This means that the average and ranking of mathematical problem solving abilities between the experimental class I and theexperimental class II are different. So it can be concluded that this study shows that there are differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities who are taught using the STAD type cooperative learning model and the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. ]]>
