Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode deskriptif analitik korelasional, dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 45 orang siswa kelas IX di SMP Gema Akbar Sentosa Cibungbulang Kabupaten Bogor. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan kuesioner atau angket. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di kelas IX SMP Gema Akbar Sentosa dengan persentase sebesar 71,1%, artinya bahwa 71,1% hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh motivasi belajar. Sedangkan 28,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve students in grade 11th grade of Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (TKR) major at SMK Teknologi Nasional Bekasi mastery English learning with using daily vocabulary memorization media and a digital dictionary. Students were required to create a sentence using ten daily vocabulary words that they have memorized. The observation method was used to conduct this research, which was combined with a qualitative research design approach. The extent of students' English vocabulary mastery skills was determined through interview techniques. The problem that researchers found, is that students of 11th grade at SMK Teknologi Nasional Bekasi are still relatively poor at recognizing and mastering vocabulary. Mastery of English vocabulary among students is not up to 50%. Another problem found was that students have been unable to look up English vocabulary in printed dictionaries. Most students still make mistakes in the process to correctly using vocabulary, and there is still a lack of self-awareness and student motivation to learn English. The first factor is that most students still do not know how to use vocabulary and are too lazy to open a dictionary; the second factor is that students have difficulty determining appropriate vocabulary to communicate and write; and the third factor is that students' ability to remember and memorize vocabulary is still relatively low.

Abstract

This study aims to improve speaking skills through the role-playing method in class X students at SMK Teknologi Nasional Bekasi. The research subjects were 36 students from class X SMK Teknologi Nasional Bekasi. Reseachers focused on qualitative research by using triangulation, the results from three data sources, namely documentation, interviews, and observations. In this study, researchers used data in the form of written and spoken words and observed the behavior of the object of research. The data comes from structured field interviews conducted by several sources involved in this research. By playing the role of students, they will be more enthusiastic and see learning. Besides that, it also increases confidence, so it is hoped that students' speaking skills will also increase. The use of role-playing makes speaking and learning activities more fun and interesting. This is because role play helps students become confident in situations where students have difficulty in conversation. Moreover, this method is fun and most of the students agree that their learning leads to better learning. In role-playing, the world of the classroom is expanded to include the outside world. This offers a wider range of language opportunities. So, students can be anyone and in any situation they want
