Abstract

Contribution self-efficacy to reading difficulties in elementary school students. This study aims to look at the contribution of self-efficacy to reading difficulties in high grade student’s school in Bukittinggi City. The design used in this study is quantitative. The samples in this study were 98 students from elementary school in Bukittinggi City. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling. The instruments in this study were the Guttman Test and Scale. Data collection is done using the self-efficacy scale and reading difficulty test. Processing data using simple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of hypothesis testing the obtained p= 0.825 (p> 0.05), this means there is no contribution between self-efficacy to reading difficulties in high grade students in elementary school in Bukittinggi City. Kontribusi self-efficacy terhadap kesulitan membaca pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi self-efficacy terhadap kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas tinggi sekolah dasar di Kota Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif. Sebanyak 98 orang siswa kelas tinggi Sekolah Dasar di Kota Bukittinggi dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yakni cluster sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah Test dan Skala Guttman. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala self-efficacy dan tes kesulitan membaca. Pengolahan data dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh p = 0.825 (p > 0,05), maknanya tidak terdapat kontribusi antara self-efficacy terhadap kesulitan membaca pada siswa sekolah dasar kelas tinggi di kota Bukittinggi.
