Abstract

Abstract: The relationship between social support and stress onmothers who have autism children This study aims to see the relationship between social support and stress onmothers who have autism children. The data collection tool uses social support, stress. The population in this study are mothers who have autism children in Padang city with a sample of all mothers who have autism children as many as 40 subjects with purposive technique. The result of the research shows that there is a significant negative relationship Between Social Support and Stress In Mothers Who Have Autism Children with (r) value= -0,450 and p= 0,004.Keywords: Social support, autism, mother.Abstrak: Hubungan antara social support dengan stress pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara social support dan stress pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala social support, stress dan Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment menggunakan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Populasinya yaitu ibu yang memiliki anak autis berada dikota Padang, dengan sampel ibu yang memiliki anak autis yang berada dikota Padang sebanyak 40 subjek dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif signifikan antara social support dan stress pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis.Kata kunci: Social support, autis, ibu.
