Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on various sectors, one of which is the education sector. The learning system that was originally implemented face-to-face in schools is now being replaced with an online learning system. This is also one of the parents' complaints. One of them is in Petung Village, Bangsalsari District, Jember Regency, where children are less than optimal when studying at home. In addition, parents who do not understand digital technology find it difficult to provide assistance. KKN BTV 3 UNEJ students are here with the aim of providing an understanding of Digital Literacy to parents and children in learning at home. The main focus in this KKN activity is to provide understanding about Digital Literacy to parents and students. The implementation of the program is carried out in 4 stages, namely, Preparation, Socialization, Learning Education, Training, and Evaluation. The results achieved in this activity are an understanding of Digital Literacy for parents and can improve students' literacy skills, as well as effectiveness in learning activities at home.

Abstract

The convergence of economic growth in East Java has a high disparity between districts/cities. This study aims to analyze the convergence and influencing factors in East Java after the 2008/2009 global crisis. The data used are secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency. The analysis used in this research is least squares analysis. Based on the results of the convergence analysis, it is shown that in 2008 after the global crisis, there was sigma convergence in the districts/cities in East Java. However, there is absolute beta convergence in the districts/cities in East Java where there is an influence between the GRDP of the previous year and the GRDP of the following year. There is a conditional beta convergence where the HDI variable has a significant positive effect, the population has a significant negative effect, and the workforce has a significant positive effect on economic growth.

Abstract

Abstract

Teamwork skills represent a social competency that must be developed from the elementary school level. Preliminary observations in Grade V of an elementary school revealed that some students remained less active in group discussions, demonstrated suboptimal teamwork abilities, and exhibited low environmental awareness. The activity aimed to strengthen students' teamwork skills through Pancasila values education integrated with a waste management project. Implementation took place at SD Negeri Pekalangan 2, Bondowoso, involving 30 fifth-grade students using a descriptive qualitative approach supported by simple quantitative data. Applied methods included learning Pancasila values using spinner-based interactive media, group-based organic and inorganic waste processing projects, and outing class activities. Data collection was conducted through pretest–posttest social skills questionnaires, structured observations, and documentation, which were then analyzed descriptively. Results demonstrated improvements in students' teamwork and social skills, with student activeness increasing from 55% to 90%, teamwork from 60% to 88%, empathy from 58% to 85%, and environmental awareness from 50% to 85%. Observations also revealed that students became more confident in expressing opinions, collaborated more effectively in groups, and demonstrated greater concern for the school environment. The activity proved effective in strengthening students' teamwork skills through the integration of Pancasila values and waste management projects. The program can serve as an alternative project-based learning approach for elementary school teachers to support character education and the Pancasila Student Profile.
