Setiap orang percaya terpanggil untuk menjadi saksi Kristus dalam dunia ini. Dalam mengemban tugas itu orang percaya menghadapi situasi-situasi yang tidak mudah, ada tantangan dari dalam diri dan dari luar dirinya. Karena itu Tuhan telah memperlengkapi orang percaya dengan kuasa rohani. Tetapi orang percaya sering lupa pada kuasa rohani itu yang menyebabkan kesaksian orang percaya menjadi tidak efektif. Firman Tuhan dari Roma 8 menolong orang percaya agar hidupnya menjadi kesaksian yang efektif. Karena itu dalam tulisan ini akan diuraikan eksegese Roma 8. Every believer is called to be a witness of Christ in this world. In carrying out that task the believer faces difficult situations, there are challenges from within and from outside himself. Therefore God has equipped believers with spiritual power. But believers often forget that spiritual power which causes the believer's testimony to be ineffective. God's Word from Romans 8 helps believers to make their lives an effective witness. Therefore in this paper the exegesis of Romans 8 will be described.

Kehidupan Kristen itu memiliki natur untuk bertumbuh, makin dewasa secara rohani dan menjadi berkat bagi sesama. Pada kenyataannya pertumbuhan itu menghadapi banyak kendala sehingga prosesnya tidak mudah. Karena itu perlu sekali untuk memperhatikan dasar pertumbuhan rohani itu agar prosesnya bisa terus berkelanjutan dalam berbagai situasi seperti yang diharapkan setiap orang percaya. Karena itu tulisan ini akan mengeksegesa Efesus 4:23 sebagai dasar pertumbuhan rohani jemaat. The Christian life has the nature to grow, become more spiritually mature and be a blessing to others. In reality the growth faces many obstacles so the process is not easy. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to the basis of spiritual growth so that the process can continue in various situations as expected by every believer. Therefore this paper will expand Ephesians 4:23 as the basis for the spiritual growth of the church.

Pembahasan tentang pertumbuhan gereja selalu menjadi perhatian para pemimpin gereja dimana saja. Berbagai teori dipelajari dengan harapan bisa diterapkan di dalam gereja masing-masing agar pertumbuhan bisa tercapai secara maksimal. Tetapi sesungguhnya dasar pertumbuhan gereja sudah disampaikan kepada gereja dalam kitab Kisah Para Rasul, karena itu tulisan ini akan menelusuri prinsip-prinsip pertumbuhan gereja dari kitab Kisah Para Rasul dan dengan harapan prinsip-prinsip itu menjadi masukan bagi gereja masa kini. Discussions about church growth always come to the attention of church leaders everywhere. Various theories are learned with the hope that they can be applied in their respective churches so that growth can be achieved to the maximum. But actually the basis for the growth of the church has been conveyed to the church in the book of Acts, therefore this paper will explore the principles of church growth from the book of Acts and hopefully these principles will be input for the church today.

ABSTRAK Covid 19 telah menular kepada hampir semua negara di dunia. Sejauh ini angka kematian yang diakibatkan oleh covid 19 ini di seluruh dunia telah mencapai angka 340.383 orang. Nampaknya angka ini akan terus bertambah, mengingat penyebaran virus ini begitu cepat, menjalar seperti api. Dalam tulisan ini akan dianalisa apakah ada hubungan antara nubuatan dalam Wahyu 6:8 dengan covid 19 ini. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metoda eksegesis terhadap teks Wahyu 6:8. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa sejauh ini jumlah kematian yang diakibatkan covid 19 masih jauh lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan jumlah kematian yang dinubuatkan dalam Wahyu 6:8. Bahwa dalam Wahyu 6:8, jumlah kematian yang diakibatkan malapetaka yang akan menimpa manusia seperempat penduduk bumi. Jika sekarang penduduk dunia sebanyak 7,8 miliar, berarti seperempatnya adalah 1.9 milliar. Dengan demikian nubuatan dalam Wahyu 6:8 tidak menunjuk kepada covid 19. Tetapi jika angka yang diakibatkan oleh covid 19 terus meningkat dan penemuan vaksin masih beberapa tahun ke depan, sehingga kematian manusia akibat covid 19 ini mencapai seperempat penduduk bumi, maka bisa saja covid 19 bisa merujuk kepada nubuatan dalam Wahyu 6:8. ABSTRACT _______________________________________________________________ Covid 19 has spread to almost all countries in the world. So far the death rate caused by covid 19 worldwide has reached 340,383 people. It seems that this number will continue to grow, considering the spread of this virus is so fast, spreading like wildfire. In this paper, we will analyze whether there is a relationship between the prophecies in Revelation 6: 8 and Covid 19. To achieve this goal, the author uses a qualitative approach with an exegetical method to the text of Revelation 6: 8. From the research conducted, so far the number of deaths caused by Covid 19 is still much smaller than the number of deaths prophesied in Revelation 6: 8. That in Revelation 6: 8, the number of deaths resulting from calamities that will befall humans a quarter of the population of the earth. If now the world's population is 7.8 billion, that means a quarter is 1.9 billion. Thus the prophecy in Revelation 6: 8 does not refer to covid 19. But if the numbers caused by covid 19 continue to increase and vaccine discoveries are still a few years from now, so that human deaths due to covid 19 will reach a quarter of the earth's population, then it could be covid 19 can refer to the prophecy in Revelation 6: 8.
