Abstract

Introduction: As many as 1 billion people in the world or about 1 in 4 adults suffer from hypertension. Many people with hypertension still ignore their disease, even though if left untreated it will lead to further complications. This is because knowledge about hypertension affects the quality of life for people with hypertension. Method: This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the physical activity of people with hypertension. This study used a quantitative analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. The study population was 100 people, and a total sample of 50 people. The research instrument used an accurate knowledge questionnaire of 20 items to see the level of knowledge and a physical activity questionnaire on the SF-12 to see the quality of life. Result: The results showed that the respondents had more knowledge than the average yaiu as many as 32 people (64%). While the physical activity of respondents in the good category was 25 people (50%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and physical activity in patients with hypertension as evidenced by the value of ρ value =0.002 and the value of chi square (X2) = 9.810.

Abstract

Introduction: Progressive muscle stiffness, especially in the proximal muscle groups of the lower limbs, in patients with hypokalemia paralysis causes recurrent acute attacks. Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe the results of applying cold compress therapy as an effort to reduce muscle stiffness in hypokalemia paralysis patients. Method: This research used the design of the Evidence Based Nursing implementation process consisting of: (1) compiling questions (Problem/population, Intervention, Comparison and Outcome) to be implemented, (2) tracing evidence related to cases to be discussed, (3) assessing the evidence presented. obtained in stage two, and (5) evaluation of the implementation of Evidence Based Nursing. Result: Giving cold compress therapy intervention, the visual analog scale decreased from level 7 (very severe scale) or scale 1 (mild pain), the patient said that significant decrease in pain scale after cold compress therapy. Conclusion: Cold compress therapy for 15 minutes can reduce the scale of pain and muscle stiffness.

Abstract

Background: Hepatoma is an abnormal growth of liver cells, which is characterized by a mass in the right upper abdomen, which can cause chronic pain. Pain arises from tissue damage and inflammation of the liver. One of the nursing interventions that can be done to overcome the main problem of chronic pain is hot compresses. Objective: This study aims to present nursing care with hot compress intervention as an effort to overcome the main problem of chronic pain in hepatoma patients. Methods: This case study uses nursing care methods that include assessment, determination of nursing diagnoses, nursing plans, implementation of nursing and nursing evaluation which was carried out for 3 days in the aster room of the Banjar City Hospital. The assessment was carried out by way of history taking and observation. Nursing diagnosis is determined by the IDHS, while the nursing plan is adjusted to the grouping of interventions in SIKI supported by Evidence Based Nursing. Implementation and evaluation of nursing is documented with the SOAPIER model. Giving hot compress therapy to hepatoma patients is given using a bottle covered with a cloth so that the heat does not directly stick to the skin, with a duration of 15 minutes. Results: After being given a heat compress intervention, the pain scale was reduced from 8 to 2, while the subjective data from the anamnesis, the client said the pain was reduced. Conclusion: Heat compress therapy can be an effective nursing intervention to reduce chronic pain in hepatoma patients.

Abstract

Introduction: As many as 9.4 million people in the world suffer from hypertension, many people with hypertension ignore their disease, even though if left unchecked it will lead to more serious diseases. Objective: This research aims to is study was to find out whether there is a relationship between sleep quality and stress levels in patients with hypertension. Method: The type of research used is quantitative analysis using a cross sectional design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The research population was 100 people and the total sample was 50 people. The research instrument was carried out by measuring blood pressure and distributing questionnaires. Result: The results showed that the majority of respondents had better sleep quality than the average of 5 people (10%). While the stress level of respondents in the mild stress category was 23 people (46%). Conclusion: From the results of the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the relationship between sleep quality and stress levels in patients with hypertension is not significant or has no relationship with p value = 0.340.

Abstract

Introduction: Childhood is often referred to as the golden period, where the growth obtained in this period greatly influences the development of the next period. Because this golden period only comes once to be used optimally. This period occurs in the middle ages of 6-12 years or commonly referred to as school age. School age is an important age in the growth and physical development of children. This period is also referred to as the critical period because at this time children begin to develop habits that tend to persist into adulthood. Objective: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the snake and ladder game as a medium of counseling on PHBS knowledge and its application in the daily lives of students at SDN 3 Muktisari Ciamis Regency. Method: The model used for community service is health education using the concept of play. In this counseling, participants are expected to be able to implement a comprehensive (comprehensive) strategy, especially in creating new behaviors, namely PHBS in schools. Result: Based on the results of pre and post assessment of the level of knowledge, counseling participants experienced an increase. This shows that the counseling on PHBS has a positive effect for the students of SDN 3 Muktisari. In line with research (Mulyadi, 2018) that there is a significant influence before and after being given health education on the level of knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior. Conclussion: The conclusion from the implementation of this community service was counseling about PHBS using the giant snake and ladder media, giving a positive effect on the students of SD Negeri 3 Muktisari. This was shown by the enthusiasm, activeness of participants in participating in the counseling and there was also an increase in knowledge about PHBS before and after being given counseling.

Abstract

Introduction: fraktur femur ialah hilangnya kontinuitas pada tulang paha, dengan kondisi klinis berupa fraktur terbuka serta tertutup. Fraktur ini disebebkan oleh syok kecepatan tinggi, kecelakaan kendaraan, jatuh dari ketinggian, atau cedera selama olahraga ekstrim. Objective: asistensi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada Tn. A dengan diagnosa medis fraktur femur di ruang Anggrek RSU Kota Banjar. Method: Kegiatan asistensi dilakukan dengan memberikan asuhan keperawatan melalui 5 proses antara lain pengkajian, diagnosa keperawatan, intervensi keperawatan, implementasi keperawatan, dan evaluasi keperawatan. Result: Hasil menjelaskan masalah utama yang muncul dengan diagnosa nyeri akut dan gangguan mobilitas fisik, yang diberikan intervensi selama 2 hari. Hasil yang didapat nyeri pada klien berkurang dan mulai bisa mobilisasi. Conclusion: pemberian asuhan keperawatan dengan diagnosa medis fraktur femur dapat teratasi.

Abstract

The emergence of the COVID-19 disease outbreak and the government's PPKM regulations have forced people to work remotely from their homes, making them less physically active and exercising so that they can be at risk of triggering the emergence of various diseases in the future, one of which is diabetes mellitus. So STIKes Muhammaduyah ciamis Working in collaboration with Moist Care Clinic Bogor feels It is crucial and required to provide education about the risk of diabetes, screening for diabetic feet as early detection and diabetic foot exercise as a good physical activity for the feet to prevent diabetic sores. This community service project's goal is to provide health counseling, foot screening, and foot exercises for diabetes mellitus in the Cimanggu District Community, Bogor. This community service is intended for the Cimanggu District Community in Bogor. The activities are carried out within a period of 1 month starting from January 6 to February 4, 2022, Preparation, execution, and evaluation are the stages of an activity. Preparation includes a field survey and activity permit. Doctors from the Moist Care Clinic practiced foot screening as part of the implementation. Health Counseling by Lecturers from STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis and Diabetic Foot Exercises by DIII Nursing Study Program Students from STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis. Each stage of an activity is evaluated by compiling and drawing conclusions from the data collected, with the Moist Care Clinic following up on these findings in the future. The results of the activity are the implementation of diabetes foot screening, diabetes health counseling, and diabetes foot exercises. Implementing activities are lecturers, nurses, and students and assisted by the Cimanggu sub-district community.
