<![CDATA[Kantor Bupati Pasaman adalah sebuah institusi pemerintahan di Lubuk Sikaping. Institusi ini memiliki banyak pegawai yang tersebar pada beberapa ruangan dan lantai, dimana Kantor Bupati Pasaman memiliki tiga lantai. Atas dasar itu, media komunikasi menjadi sarana yang paling penting untuk menjaga komunikasi antar pegawai. Sebelumnya, media komunikasi yang digunakan pada Kantor Bupati Pasaman adalah telephone PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange), akan tetapi dalam penerapannya penggunaan telephone PABX ini belum optimal karena setiap ruangan hanya memiliki satu line telepon PABX sedangkan di dalam satu ruangan mempunyai delapan orang pegawai. Oleh karena itu diperlukan media yang mampu mengoptimalkan sistem komunikasi antar pegawai di Kantor Bupati Pasaman.Salah satu cara dengan mengoptimalkan komputer yang ada untuk sarana komunikasi, dengan mengimplementasikan Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) sebagai media komunikasi pengganti PABX. VoIP di implementasikan dengan menggunakan Elastix Server dan Zoiper Softphone sebagai aplikasi untuk melakukan panggilan pada komputer client.Dari hasil penelitian, penerapan VoIP pada komputer di lingkungan Kantor Bupati Pasaman yang terhubung melalui Elastix Server, VoIP dapat memudahkan komunikasi antar pegawai yang berguna untuk menunjang kinerja para pegawai. For that reason, media communication becomes the most important means to maintain communication between employees. Earlier, media communication used in Pasaman Regent Office is telephone PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange), but in practice the use of telephone PABX is not optimal because each room has only one telephone line PABX while in one room has eight employees. Therefore we need a media that is able to optimize the system of communication between employees in Pasaman Regent Office. One way to optimize your existing computer to the means of communication, by implementing the Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) as a substitute PABX communications media. VoIP is implemented by using Elastix Server and Zoiper Softphone to make calls as an application on the client computer. Result of research, the VoIP application on a computer in the office environment Pasaman Regent connected through Elastix Server, VoIP can facilitate communication between employees that are useful to support the performance of the employees.]]>
