ABSTRACT: THE EFFECT OF HONEY GIVING ON HB LEVELS IN PREGNANT TRIMESTER III MOTHER IN UPTD PUSKESMAS PENIANGAN KECAMATAN MARGA SEKAMPUNG DISTRICT EAST LAMPUNG TAHUN 2019Backgroud: According to WHO, 40% of maternal deaths in developing countries are associated with anemia in pregnancy. About 95% of cases of anemia during pregnancy due to iron (Fe) deficiency are the cause of inadequate food intake, previous pregnancies, recurring normal blood loss. Eating foods rich in vitamin C along with iron will increase iron absorption.Purpose: It was known the effect of honey administration on HB levels in pregnant women TM III in the UPTD of Peniangan Health Center, Marga Sekampung, East Lampung Regency in 2019.Methods: Type of quantitative research, research design with cross sectional approach to research design with Quasi experiment. The population in this study were all mothers who visited the UPTD in the third trimester health center as many as 362 pregnant women. Variables in the study were giving honey to HB levels in pregnant women TM III. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate using t-test.Results: Average distribution of Hb levels before being given honey is 9.973 with a standard deviation of 0.9652, and after being given honey is 10.660 with a standard deviation of 1.1944. There is the effect of giving honey on the increase of Hb levels in trimester III pregnant women in the UPTD of Peniangan Health Center, Marga Sekampung, East Lampung Regency in 2019 (t-test> t count, 9,118, p-value <0,05). Conclusion: There is the effect of giving honey on the increase of Hb levels in trimester III pregnant women in the UPTD of Peniangan Health Center, Marga Sekampung, East Lampung Regency in 2019. Suggestions for pregnant women can increase knowledge about anemia and how to prevent and cope with anemia during pregnancy, such as listening to counseling about the fulfillment of nutrition by eating foods that contain lots of Fe INTISARI: PENGARUH PEMBERIAN MADU TERHADAP KADAR HB PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III DI UPTD PUSKESMAS PENIANGAN KECAMATAN MARGA SEKAMPUNG KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMURPendahuluan: Menurut WHO, 40% kematian ibu di negara berkembang berkaitan dengan anemia dalam kehamilan. Sekitar 95% kasus anemia selama kehamilan karena kekurangan zat besi (Fe) penyebabnya biasanya asupan makanan tidak memadai, kehamilan sebelumnya, kehilangan darah normal secara berulang. Mengkonsumsi makanan yang kaya vitamin C bersama dengan zat besi akan meningkatkan penyerapan besi. Tujuan : Diketahui pengaruh pemberian madu terhadap kadar hb pada ibu hamil TM III di UPTD Puskesmas Peniangan Kecamatan Marga Sekampung Kabupaten Lampung Timur tahun 2019. Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif, rancangan penelitian dengan pendekatan cross sectional rancangan penelitian dengan Quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang melakukan kunjungan di UPTD Puskesmas Peniangan trimester III sebanyak 362 ibu hami.Variabel dalam penelitian yaitu pemberian madu terhadap kadar hb pada ibu hamil TM III. Analisa data secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil: Rata-rata nilai kadar Hb sebelum diberikan madu adalah 9,973 dengan standar deviasi 0,9652, dan setelah diberikan madu adalah 10,660 dengan standar deviasi 1,1944. Ada Pengaruh pemberian madu Terhadap Peningkatan Kadar Hb Pada Ibu Hamil Trimester III di UPTD Puskesmas Peniangan Kecamatan Marga Sekampung Kabupaten Lampung Timur tahun 2019 (t-test > t hitung, 9,118, p–value < 0,05). Saran ibu hamil dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang anemia dan cara mencegah serta menanggulangi anemia saat kehamilan, seperti mendengarkan penyuluhan tentang pemenuhan gizi dengan makan-makanan yang banyak mengandung Fe.
