Abstract

ABSTRAKBaterai lithium polymer adalah jenis baterai litium selain jenis baterai lithium-ionyang umum digunakan. Memiliki karakteristik elektrolitnya berbentuk padatmemungkinkan baterai lithium polymer lebih tahan terhadap perubahantemperatur sehingga umur pakai baterai lebih tahan lama jika proses pengisiandan pengosongan dilakukan dengan benar.Pada penelitian ini membandingkan metode pengisian baterai CC-CV dengancharging rate sebesar 1 C dan 2 C untuk mengetahui durasi pengisian, muatanyang tersimpan, serta perubahan temperatur baterai.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baterai dengan charging rate 2 C 43 % lebihcepat dalam durasi pengisian, kenaikan temperatur berbeda 1°C dibanding dengancharging rate 1 C, 4,36 % lebih banyak memakai energi dari charging rate 1 C,dan 2,13 % lebih sedikit menyimpan energi dibanding dengan charging rate 1 C.Kata kunci : baterai, lithium-polymer (li-po), pengisian energi elektrik.ABSTRACTLithium polymer battery is one of lithium battery type besides ltthium-ion thatwidely use. The characteristics of the electrolyte in solid state is making lithiumpolymer battery more resilient to temperature change so battery lifetime is longerif charging and discharing process is done correctly.This research compares CC-CV charging method between charging rate of 1 Cand 2 C to observe charging duration, stored charge, and battery temperaturechange.The result of the research shows that the battery with charging rate of 2 C is 43 %faster in charging duration with different in rise of temperature of 1°C comparedto charging rate of 1 C, energy used is 4,36 % more than charging rate of 1 C,and energy stored is 2,13 % less than charging rate of 1 C.Keywords : battery, lithium-polymer (li-po), electric energy charging.
