Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the form of cooperation between schools and parents in the formation of student character at SD Negeri 1 Pangi-Pangi and to examine the obstacles to cooperation between schools and parents in forming student character. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Informants in this study were principals, teachers, parents and children/students. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the form of cooperation between schools and parents in shaping the character of students at SD Negeri 1 Pangi-Pangi, namely 1) visiting teachers at students' homes to obtain data or information about children's behavior at home, providing understanding to parents that in educating the child is a shared responsibility between parents and educators at school, 2) and parental communication with homeroom teachers to build parental involvement in aligning parenting at home with what is obtained at school through teleohone media or parents coming directly to the school. school. Obstacles of cooperation between schools and parents in shaping the character of students at SDN 1 Pangi-Pangi, namely the attitude of parents who do not respond or do not care about the development of their children at school because parents are busy with their work, so they cannot attend meetings or activities carried out by the school. and submit everything to the school. Abstract

This study is entitled the integrative paradigm of Islamic education as capital in facing the 4.0 era. This type of qualitative research, the category of library research, uses historical, comparative, and educational science approaches. The method is descriptive and analytical. Studies prove that the integrative paradigm is the basic capital of Islamic education in facing the 4.0 era without having to escape identity as an Islamic educational institution that has characteristics and adheres to the principles of al-muhafadhah 'ala al-qadim ash-shalih wa al-ahdzu bi al-jadid alashlah, namely maintaining the Islamic religious tradition by steadfastly preserving its myriad treasures and without having to lose the function of Abdullah and his caliphate or empirical rationale towards spiritual empirical rationality by integrating several paradigms namely non-dichotomous Education, From Teaching to Learning, Novum Organum to Tartium Organum, as well as from the profession to the prophetic. In this way, Islamic education will leave the point of absurdity of civilization towards an advanced civilization, even if the students have IQ Intellectual intelligence, EQ emotional intelligence, and SQ spiritual intelligence with these three bits of intelligence, so students become rahmatan lil alamin.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the urgency of the ability to read the Qur’an for Islamic Religious Education student class of 2021 at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training IAIN Kendari. This type of research is a qualitative research using field research methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation with data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, data collection verification. The techniques for testing the validity of the data use source triangulation techniques, technical triangulation and time triangulation. The results of the study show that the urgency of the ability to read the Qur’an for PAI students is two, namely: a) making PAI students as professional teacher candidates. b) become the main requirement for PAI students in completing their studies. There are three efforts made to foster the ability to read the Qur’an for PAI students, namely: a) conducting reading mapping for new students. b) conducting tahsin reading coaching for students. c) the establishment of an institution called the Student Qur'an House (RQM) as a forum/place for students to improve their ability to read the Qur'an. In addition, there are two supporting factors in guiding students to read the Al-Qur'an properly, namely: a) the existence of faculty policies. b) the establishment of an institution as a place for fostering Al-Qur'an reading.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand the interaction patterns between Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers and students as part of the process of improving student discipline at SMAN 5 Kendari. This research employs a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of the vice principal of curriculum, the coordinator of guidance and counseling teachers, teachers, and students. Data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interaction patterns used by IRE teachers to improve student discipline at SMAN 5 Kendari involve both two-way and multi-directional interaction patterns. Two-way interactions occur both inside and outside the classroom, such as question-and-answer sessions during lessons. IRE teachers also tend to take a soft, personal approach in interacting with students and consistently instill moral messages, ethical values, and relate religious teachings to present and future life, thereby broadening students' religious understanding. Additionally, two-way interaction outside the classroom is reflected in the practice of the “5 S” (greeting, addressing, smiling, politeness, and courtesy) when students meet their teachers.
