Abstract

File dokumen yang mempunyai ukuran sangat besar dapat menimbulkan masalah, diantaranya ruang penyimpanan yang hanya dapat menampung beberapa informasi saja dan waktu pengiriman atau transfer data memakan waktu yang lebih lama. Hal ini menyebabkan masyarakat lebih memilih file dokumen yang mempunyai ukuran yang kecil. Dengan demikian, solusi untuk masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan melakukan proses kompresi atau pemampatan data file dokumen yang berukuran sangat besar menjadi ukuran yang kecil. Untuk itu diperlukan sebuah kompresi file agar dapat menghemat ruang penyimpanan dan pengamanan file agar dapat merahasiakan data file tersebut. Algoritma Gopala-Hemachandra 2(GH-2(n)) merupakan pengembangan dari deret fibonacci dan algoritma Columnar Transposition Cipher merupakan pengamanan pesan dengan kunci simetris, yaitu proses enkripsi dan dekripsi pesan dilakukan dengan menggunakan kata kunci yang sama. Pada penelitian pernacangan sistem ini terdiri dari 4 proses yaitu Kompresi, Enkripsi, Dekripsi dan Dekompresi. Pada proses kompresi file dokumen berformat .RTF dihasilkan RC sebesar 1,19 dan SS sebesar 16%. Hasil kompresi tersebut dienkripsi dan didekripsi menggunakan algoritma columnar transposition cipher. Kemudian didekompresi menggunakan algoritma gopalahemachandra 2(GH-2(n)).

Abstract

A file or files have a large size, especially an image file. So that it can affect a storage memory and also mess in the speed of data transmission. If an image file has a large capacity it can affect the sending process. So that the sending process has two possibilities, namely the image file sent will require a long process or the image file will experience failure in sending because the storage size exceeds the maximum limit. This problem can be overcome by compressing the data. Data compression can reduce the size of data storage on both internal and external memory, speeding up data transmission due to smaller storage sizes. Data compression has several algorithms that can be used. In this research, the writer will compare the performance of Elias Delta Code algorithm with even Rodeh Code algorithm. Thus obtaining which algorithm is the most efficient used for the image file compression process.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge and information regarding laptop specifications makes ordinary people who want to buy a laptop feel confused about determining which laptop suits their needs. As a tool that can be used to select a laptop, a decision support system is needed. In decision support systems there are several methods, one of which can be used is the MOORA method (Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis). In this research, the author will raise a case to find the best alternative from predetermined criteria to determine comparisons by rating existing alternatives using the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis)method. Based on the relative performance scores, Asus Rog GL552JX (A9) obtained the highest score of 0.217 and ranked first. This was followed by Asus A455LD (A4) with a score of 0.21585 and second place, and Acer Aspire E5-551 (A2) with a score of 0.19785 and third place. Acer One 10 S100X (A10) received the lowest score of 0.1042 and ranked last. Thus, Asus Rog GL552JX (A9) can be considered as the best laptop based on the established criteria in this study.
