Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study are 1) is there are role for parental tutoring and self-concept on mathematics learning outcomes, 2) is there a positive ang significant relationship between parental tutoring and self-concept on student mathematics learning out comes? This research is a quantitative study and the design of this study uses pearsosn correlation analysis. Data collection using questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The subjects if this study were student of class Vb SDN 4 Sesean with a total population of students .sampling technique using the entire population as members of the sample. This instruments used to collect data in this study were a documentation questionnaire test and an interview. Data analysis using inferential statistics, namely simple correlation and multiple correlation, were analyzed using the SPSS 16.0 For Windows application for descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics are used to describe the variables in the from of average score, maximum score, minimum score, and standard deviation, while inferential statistics are used to test the hypothesis. The result of the study : 1) there is a positive and significant relationship with parental tutoring and mathematics learning outcomes with r count of 0,035. 2) there is a positive and significant relationship with self-concept and mathematics learning outcomes with r count of 0,035. The conclusion of this research is that there is a positive and significant significance of tutoring and self-concept towards the mathematics learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN 4 Sesean.

Abstract

The role of the homeroom teacher in overcoming the problem of learning difficulties of grade III students is very important because through its role the homeroom teacher can help students to overcome the problems difficulties the face. The difficulties faced by students also vary because students have different characteristics. This research aims to: (1) to find out the difficulties of students in the process of learning to read in grade III SDN 1 Bangkelekila’. (2) to find out the role of homeroom teacher in solving the problem of learning difficulties in reading for grade III to 1 students of Bangkelekila. The subject ini this research is the homeroom teacher og class III. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study research design. The informant of this research is the homeroom teacher. Data collection procedures used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification, checking the validity of the findings. The research stage includes the pre-field, stage the implementation stage, the data analysis stage the completion stage. The results of research in the field show that the role of the homeroom teacher in overcoming the problem of learning difficulties of grade III students is very important because through his role as a homeroom teacher can help the learning difficulties faced by students so that the sedifficulties can be cosolved properly and students can easily understand the lessons given by their teacher.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research located at SDN 213 Inpres Lemo, Sarira Village, North Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. Sources of interview data were obtained through class I teachers, data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, as well as testing the validity of the data by triangulation. The result of this research is the method or method used by the teacher in teaching students to read, write, and count. The purpose of this study was to find out the method used by class I teachers at DN 213 Inpres Lemo in teaching students to read, write and count.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah dengan menggunakan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Rantepao ?”. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang direncanakan dalam empat tahap yaitu: (1) Perencanaan tindakan, (2) Pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) Pengamatan, (4) Refleksi. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan media audio visual. Fokus penelitian adalah penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Rantepao dengan jumlah siswa 27 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Lembar Kerja Kelompok (LKK), tes formatif, observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terlihat ada peningkatan terhadap kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Rantepao. Penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa pada siklus I pertemuan 1 nilai rata-rata 64,69 dengan persentase ketuntasan 59,26 % dan meningkat pada pertemuan 2 dengan nilai rata-rata 57,85 dengan persentase ketuntasan 55,56 %. Pada siklus II pertemuan 1 mencapai nilai rata-rata 79,63 dengan persentasi ketuntusan 100 % dan meningkat pada pertemuan 2 dengan rata-rata 70,30 dengan persentase ketuntasan 62,96 %. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Rantepao

Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) to know the background of the carvings of pa 'barre allo, pa' manuk londong, pa 'tedong and pa' don sponge 2) know the moral message of the carvings of pa 'barre allo, pa' manuk londong, pa 'tedong and pa' don sponge. This research was carried out in Lembang Sa'dan Ulusalu, Sa'dan District, North Toraja, for a one year. This research is expected to be useful to: 1) the community as input and reference material in developing knowledge and providing information about moral messages in Toraja carvings. 2) for tourists, namely as an ingredient to gain insight into the Toraja culture, especially for local and foreign tourists who are quantitatively slowing down the Toraja culture for the first time. 3) for the regional government, to supporting the regional government in the development and maximum use of the tourist potential that is present in Toraja carvings 4) for the tourism office, as a reference to tourism management 5), fo the pimary school students as a reference to moral values ​​and social values. The results of the study show that Toraja carvings or Passura 'Toraya' have long been known by the Toraja as a form of communication represented by symbols. Each of these symbols contains moral messages that the ancestors conveyed to their children and grandchildren so that their descendants and later always live in the noble values ​​of the Torasonga Royong culture and become a light for others and especially for pimary school students.

Abstract

Tari Pa'katia merupakan salah satu kesenian tradisional dari Toraja yang biasanya ditampilkan pada upacara rambu solo dan digunakan juga untuk kepentingan kepariwisataan serta penyambutan pejabat pejabat pemerintah . Di dalam Tari Pa'katia terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam tari Pa'katia . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah kelompok tari Pa'katia dan tokoh adat di kecamatan Buntao'.Teknik pengumpulan data ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam tari Pa'katia yang dapat dijadikan sumber pendidikan karakter khususnya di sekolah dasaryaitu nilai (1) religius, (2) toleransi, (3) disiplin, (4) menghargai prestasi, (5) cinta damai, (6) peduli sosial dan (7) tanggung jawab.
