Abstract

The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of management of early childhood care education on national consciousness sustainability. the participants were selected from the sampled public early childhood care education in the northeast zone, of Nigeria. sample of 331 head teachers and 351teachers to make a total of 682 participants were proportionally selected from the sampled schools. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses. The findings showed that staffing, planning of lessons, and coordination enhanced national consciousness sustainability. Thus, it was recommended that school managers should continue to provide appropriate and adequate staffing of early childhood care education so as to improve the effective development of human capital towards promoting national consciousness sustainability, Also, school managers should encourage caregivers to effectively plan lessons in order to motivate learners and build collaborative processes between teachers and school managers towards the realization of national consciousness sustainability. Abstract

The main goal of this research was to investigate how curriculum management strategies affected the successful implementation of Universal Basic Education. Total of 712 participants were chosen using proportional random sampling from the sampled primary and junior secondary schools in North-west, Nigeria. The findings of the study demonstrated that students’ mastery goal, effective classroom instruction and evaluation all helped to improve the effectiveness  of UBE implementation.  Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses. Thus, it was recommended that school managers should  encourage students' mastery goal so as to help learners to better engaged in the learning process. Likewise, school managers should strive to create effective classroom instruction to help in engaging learner with concepts and process for learning. Furthermore,  evaluation of curriculum and learners activities should be done frequently in order to determine learners’ competence before, during and after instruction toward effective implementation of curriculum.                Keywords: students' mastery goal; effective classroom instruction, evaluation; self-efficacy; curriculum.

Quantitative research designed was used for this study.  Sample of 331 principals were proportionally selected from the sample junior secondary school. Data was collected using Human Resource Management (HRMQ). Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data collected. The findings reveal that staff development and Provision of staff welfare and appraisal of staff performance were significantly and positively correlated with school effectiveness. Therefore, it was recommended that school administrators should give room for continuous staff development so as to provides teachers the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and attitude needed to perform effectively in the class. In addition, school administrators should improve the provision of staff welfare by paying salary and allowance regularly and promptly to allow teachers to concentrate on their professional tasks and improve the total commitment of staff for the purpose of school effectiveness. Abstract

The primary goal of this research was to determine the relationship between innovative pedagogical methods and classroom management. Traditional pedagogy has been found to be out of date in recent years, especially in terms of how teachers deliver their teaching and management of the classroom. The time is right to recognize cutting-edge educational pedagogical innovative methods that are currently being implemented on a world wild scale or locally, depending on the needs of the region. A quantitative research design was adopted for the study. A sample of 761 participants was selected randomly selected from the sample public primary schools in the North-west zone, Nigeria. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis were used to test the hypotheses. The findings revealed that computational thinking-embodied learning and context-based learning positively and significantly correlated with classroom management. Therefore, it was recommended that School managers should continue to encourage learners' computational thinking so as to help learner experience a deeper level of involvement and understanding. Also, school managers should continue to improve embodied learning in order to help teachers reach out to the mind of learners and make lessons more interesting. Furthermore, school managers should encourage context-based learning by giving learners a perfect degree of autonomy over learning activities, helping learner activate their thinking and meta-cognitive skills toward achieving effective classroom management.
