Abstract

Pengunjung obyek wisata Curug Bayan di lereng selatan Gunung Slamet-Kabupaten Banyumas perlu mendapatkan informasi aspek geologi pada lokasi yang dikunjunginya. Sebagian besar dari para wisatawan ini belum mengetahui jenis dan makna pada beberapa titik yang memiliki makna penting secara geologi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat sosialisasi geowisata Curug Bayan di Kabupaten Banyumas - Jawa Tengah ini adalah melalui serangkaian langkah dari kajian pustaka, pengamatan lapangan, sosialisasi pada masyarakat dan selanjutnya penyusunan tulisan karya pengabdian ini. Sosialisasi kepada wisatawan mengenai aspek geowisata Curug Bayan telah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman akan makna geologi pada lokasi wisata Curug Bayan.Visitors to the Curug Bayan tourist attraction, on the southern slope of Mount Slamet-Banyumas Regency, need to obtain information on the geological aspects of the locations they visit. Most of these tourists do not know the type and meaning at some point which has geological significance. Community service regarding the promotion of Curug Bayan geotourism in Banyumas Regency-Central Java, is through a series of steps from literature review, field observations, socialization to the community and then writing this paper. Socialization to tourists regarding the geotourism aspect of Curug Bayan has provided knowledge and understanding of the geological meaning of Curug Bayan tourist sites.
