Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menghasilkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis discovery dearning untuk siswa SMA. (2) Mendeskripsikan kelayakan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis Discovery Learning. (3) Mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis discovery learning. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengacu pada model 4-D dengan tahapan Definition, Design, Development, dan Dissemination. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penilaian kevalidan modul oleh para ahli terhadap modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis discovery learning ini ahli bahasa memberikan penilaian dengan rata-rata 0,83, ahli materi memberikan penilaian dengan rata-rata 0,88 dan ahli media memberikan penilaian dengan rata-rata 0,85. Respon siswa terhadap modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis discovery learning yang telah digunakan dalam pembelajaran mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik sebesar 87,20% pada aspek ketertarikan, 85,33% aspek materi dan 84,00% aspek bahasa.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the characteristics of a test instrument based on scientific literacy of static fluid material for students of class XI SMA. (2) Describe the feasibility of a static fluid science literacy-based test instrument for students of class XI SMA. (3) Describe the results of teacher and student responses to tests based on static fluid science literacy for students in class XI SMA. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The research subjects were students of class XI SMA Negeri 3 Merauke. Data collection techniques used include tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The test instrument developed is in the form of a discourse description test that includes four categories of scientific literacy. The results of the characteristics of the scientific literacy-based test instrument are, there are four question indicators with the number of scientific literacy test questions developed as many as 20 essay questions with 4 main categories of scientific literacy, namely: Science knowledge, Investigation of the nature of science, Science as a way of thinking, Science Interaction, Technology , and Society. The questions have a scientific literacy category and are related to everyday life. Items have different levels of difficulty and scoring. The scientific literacy-based test instrument serves to measure the level of students' understanding. The feasibility of the developed test instrument was declared valid. The reliability of the scientific literacy-based test instrument developed in the reliable category.

Abstract

The profile of the service partner is the teacher of SMP Muhammadiyah Kartosentanan, Merauke, which is located on Jalan Mopah. SMP Muhammadiyah Kartosentono Merauke is one of the pilot schools that provides secondary level education and teaching. One of the problems experienced today is that almost all educational institutions are ready to carry out the learning process after the new normal era. The learning in question is a learning tool, an assessment system and a learning delivery method. Based on studies related to problems with partners, first, most teachers find it difficult to be ready for normal learning because of the pandemic which requires the online teaching and learning process to follow social distancing rules in learning. Second, students are still traumatized by the pandemic situation that forces every activity at school to be carried out online. The REACT approach by Michael Crawford is Relating, Experiencing, appliying, Cooperating and Transfering. Middle School teachers of Muhammadiyah Kartosentanan are expected partners from this service activity, namely the delivery of skills in the learning process with the REACT approach to support the post-new normal era of teachers in the learning system. The ultimate goal is that the teacher is able to master all learning activities in the post new normal era. In addition, this service is a form of reflection for academics at universities or writers' institutions in developing efficient, effective and creative learning systems.

Abstract

Ibnu Sina Middle School Merauke is one of the secondary schools in Merauke Regency which has been providing education and teaching since 2019. As a newly established school, one of the problems experienced by this school is the lack of use of the latest interactive learning media in the science learning process. Based on studies related to these errors, it was found that science learning in class still uses the conventional one-way lecture method so that science learning is considered boring and less interesting according to students. This has an impact on students' low science learning outcomes. It was then found that the minimal use of learning media in science learning was caused by teachers' lack of knowledge of interactive learning media that could be used in the science learning process in the classroom. So it is hoped that this service activity can introduce science teachers and other subject teachers at Ibnu Sina Middle School how to use web-based interactive learning media in the classroom learning process so that lessons become more interesting, more lively, more active and more meaningful which will have an impact. on improving students' science learning outcomes at school.
