Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas II sekolah dasar serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan siswa dalam membaca permulaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah guru kelas II dan orang tua siswa kelas II SD Negeri 045/I Sridadi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian di analisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 16 orang siswa kelas II SD Negeri 045/I Sridadi ditemukan bahwa 6 orang siswa yaitu JA, AC, MR, AI, DA, dan MN mengalami permasalahan dalam ranah membaca permulaan seperti : (a) belum mampu mengenal huruf, (b) membaca suku kata, (c) membaca kata, (d) membaca kalimat sederhana, dan (e) membaca teks pendek yang mana merupakan tolak ukur siswa dikatakan mampu membaca permulaan. Kemudian kesulitan siswa yang dalam membaca permulaan disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu: (a) kurangnya minat belajar, (b) kurangnya percaya diri siswa, (c) pendidikan pra sekolah, dan (d) perhatian dari orang tua.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the analysis of an earlier reading ability at second grade of elementary school students as well as factors that affect students' earlier reading ability. Researchers use a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The data sources in this study were grade 2 teachers and parents of grade 2 SD Negeri 045 /I Sridadi. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and document studies. The data obtained is then analyzed through the stages consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and verification / drawing conclusions. The results showed that out of 16 second grade students of SD Negeri 045/1 Sridadi, it was found that 6 students, namely JA, AC, MR, AI, DA, and MN experienced problems in the realm of an earlier reading ability such as : (a) not being able to recognize letters, (b) reading syllables, (c) spelling words, (d) stringing words into simple sentences, and (e) reading short texts. Those aspects are the benchmark for students to have an earlier reading ability. Then students' difficulty in reading is caused by several factors, namely: (a) lack of interest in learning, (b) lack of self-confidence, (c) preschool education, and (d) attention from parents.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the profile of Pancasila students as an effort to realize national character. The method used in this study uses a library research method or approach, with library data collection methods. The results of this research show that the Pancasila student profile is one of the policies that supports the realization of national education goals and the continuation of the character strengthening program. Through the application of the 6 dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, it is hoped that the Indonesian nation will become individuals who are intelligent and have character and are able to face the challenges of the 21st century and of course instill the values contained in Pancasila as our country's philosophy consistently and ultimately be able to realize a prosperous and dignified national life. Strategy The development of the Pancasila student profile is carried out through integration in formal education activities through intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities which are packaged in project activities to strengthen the Pancasila student profile through the implementation of the Pancasila student profile policy. It is hoped that this will be able to build a superior Indonesian national character and be able to compete globally.
