Abstract

 Language style enhances the expression and effect of certain words through linguistic means such as sound, vocabulary and grammar which are the basis of rhetoric, namely using language on the grounds of specific needs in the form of communicative purposes, situations, objects, and so on. This study aims to describe the style of language in songs with different themes.This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection technique was carried out with documentation techniques and the data source in this study was the lyrics of the song Wang lee Hom. The theory used is the theory of figure of speech and language style as well as the theory of qualitative analysis to examine this research.In the results of this study, there are 9 types of figurative language found in 6 song titles, namely Nĭrén, Nĭwù, Bĭyù, Kuāzhāng, Fănfù, Duì'ŏu, Fănwèn, Shèwèn and Céngdì. The difference in the use of the type of language style in the six song titles is influenced by the nature of the interaction between humans in the song's theme.Keywords: Language Style, Song Lyrics, Song Theme

Abstract

Rhetoric is a way of expressing ideas through language, using language effectively. This paper takes "Send You a Little Red Flower" as the research object. The purpose of this research is to analyze the rhetorical devices used in the movie "Send You a Little Red Flower" and find out the application factors of rhetoric. According to the theory of rhetoric as the theoretical basis, this paper uses qualitative research and literature method for research and investigation. The results of the study show that there are 12 types of rhetorical devices in the film, namely: metaphor, analogy, borrowing, exaggeration, rhetorical questioning, parallelism, contrast, repetition, questioning, duality, loopback, and layering, among which repetition accounts for the most important. The application factors of using rhetoric include objective and subjective factors that affect the script of the film, making the language expression of the film more vivid and vivid, highlighting the image of the characters, and emphasizing a certain emotion of the speaker.Key words:rhetoric; film; "Send You a Little Red Flower"

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the errors in the use of the numerals "er" and "liang" by class VII students of SMP Wahidin in the academic year 2023/2024. This study uses a qualitative research method with elicitation and interview techniques to describe the types of errors and factors causing errors made by class VII students of SMP Wahidin in the academic year 2023/2024. The results of the data analysis prove that students still make many mistakes in using the numerals "er" and "liang". The types of errors made by class VII students of SMP Wahidin when using the numerals "er" and "liang" consist of 178 selection errors, 80 sequencing errors, 4 addition errors and 2 subtraction errors. While the factors causing errors consist of mother tongue interference as many as 12 people, lack of discussion of the material as many as 2 people, Mandarin language learning strategies as many as 2 people and teachers who are not serious in teaching as many as 8 people.
