Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence production in laying hens in Way Kenanga District, West Tulang Bawang Regency. In this study the data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive method. Primary data obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The analysis in this study uses the Cobb-Douglass production function model which is then estimated using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The dependent variable is egg production and the independent variables are the number of chickens, feed, labor, and cage area. The results show both partially and simultaneously that the variables of the number of chickens, feed, labor, and size of the cage have a positive and significant effect on egg production in Way Kenanga District, West Tulang Bawang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how big the level of concentration and the factors that influence it in the retail rice trading industry in Panjang District, Bandar Lampung City in 2022. The analytical method used in this study is the correlation significance test method. Meanwhile, to measure the concentration level, the Market Share Index, Concentration Index, and Hafindhal Index are used. The dependent variable used in this study is the level of concentration of retail rice trading in Panjang District and the independent variables include the amount of sales, business strategy, and capital. The results of this study indicate that the amount of sales and capital has a positive and significant relationship to the level of concentration of retail rice trade in Panjang District, while the business strategy variable has a positive but not significant relationship to the level of concentration of retail rice trade in Panjang District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of production value on business capital, wages, technology, and economies of scale in Gadingrejo District. This study uses primary data with a total of 35 respondents to the tofu industry in Gadingrejo District using a multiple linear regression model. The dependent variable used is production value and the independent variables include capital, wages and technology. The results showed that capital, wages, and technology had a positive and significant effect on the production value of tofu companies in Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of employment, open unemployment, and domestic investment on the economic growth of Lampung Province in Indonesia. The research sample consisted of data from Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2010 to the fourth quarter of 2022. The data source was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Lampung. Regression analysis using EViews 10 was used to analyze secondary data and time series in this study. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach, which proved to be the most effective method. The results of the study show that the variables of labor, open unemployment, and domestic investment have a significant influence on economic growth. This research is a valuable reference and provides insight for further exploration, helping to understand the impact of employment, open unemployment, and domestic investment on economic growth in Lampung Province.

Abstract

Labor absorption is the opening up of greater employment opportunities to provide more job opportunities for the working age population. Job opportunities that are already filled can be seen in the number of people who are already working. The aim of this research is to look at the influence of the Provincial Minimum Wage, Labor Productivity, and Gross Fixed Capital Formation on Labor Absorption on the Islands of Sumatra and Java. Secondary data used in this research comes from the Central Statistics Agency and the Ministry of Manpower. The method used in this research is the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method and uses panel data with 80 studies with a research period of 2018-2022. The results of the research show that the Provincial Minimum Wage and PMTB have a positive and significant influence on labor absorption on the islands of Sumatra and Java. Meanwhile, labor productivity has a negative and significant influence on labor absorption on the islands of Sumatra and Java.
