Abstract

Islamic Boarding school as the oldest institution in Indonesian made a major contribution to the intellectual life of the nation. The great contribution Islamic boarding schools as well as educational, propaganda, social institutions and even a role in the capture, maintain, and develop independence. The long history and its existence is concrete evidence that the boarding school has a strong Adversity Quotient in maintaining its existence. while keeping the values and character in a variety of situations. This paper is a conceptual paper to understand the Adversity Quotient in doing Adversity Learning schools for the students. Adversity Quotient study were found by Paul G. Stolz is a fourth generation quotient indicators in persons after IQ, EQ, SQ. Stolz study initially applied in the business world, then a variety of research and conduct research journals and adopted in schools and colleges. So the study of Adversity Quotient in schools is something the first time in Indonesian. Based on human typology according to Paul G. Stolz found some findings. Quiters Pupils who refuse boarding/learning, Campers Pupils who tried to boarding but failed or did not pass in the education and Pupils Climbers are boarding students who complete education. Adversity Quotien students in the life of the response can be detected early, lifestyle, learning environment, response to change, contributions, language and the ability to face adversity.Keywords: Adversity Quotient, schools, students

Abstract

Islam has come up with values ​​that uphold peace, Islam in practice teaches common attitudes with diversity, and uses even requires people to contribute positively within the context of the diversity, even in the view of Islam, the grace and fitrah that must be preserved not to be debated and disputed. This research produces research on the model of education in salaf pesantren with heterogeneous students by presenting models, methods, learning strategies that have the content of multicultural education. This is based on the proposition that multicultural education should be approached holistically and integratively. This research involves several important things from pesantren such as tradition, habbitus, understanding and implementation of the values ​​of multiculturalism articulated in curriculum form and the learning and life of santri in the application of multicultural education. The pesantren studied has unique and unique vision and meaning unique to multiculturalism, yet still requires appropriate strategies and programs for the same purpose. Thus the culture of pesantren and tradition becomes a strong capital in developing multiculturalism by not distinguishing differences in the background of others. The results of these findings can be prototypes of cultural education models through the integration of religious values ​​and local values ​​in the context of cultural pluralism and serve as a reference for education outside of pesantren that still upholds bulkheads and intellectual egoism.

Abstract

The objectives of this assistance are: Improving the quality/quality of writing scientific papers for students so that they are in accordance with scientific principles in reputable journals, Strengthening competence in scientific research to convey certain ideas through identification, literature review and methodology, Strengthening students' competencies in the field of writing works scientific and digital literacy, and improve research results and KIR writing results at MAN Bondowoso. the results of the activity stated that if the Teacher and students considered the Assistance Activities for Writing Scientific Papers (KTI) at MAN Bondowoso this was very necessary in developing students' journalistic abilities and digital literacy, especially in writing scientific papers. This Scientific Writing (KTI) writing assistance activity received a good response from the institution, teachers and participants. The enthusiasm of the participants was very high in participating in this workshop. This can be seen from the attendance rate of nearly 80% of the participants and the many questions asked during the activity process.
