Abstract

Prospective brides who suffer from anemia are at risk of developing anemia during pregnancy. This will have a negative impact on the growth and development of the fetus in the womb and have the potential to cause complications in the pregnancy and childbirth. Anemia can increase the risk of miscarriage, stunted fetal growth, premature birth, low birth weight, and bleeding that can cause death. Therefore, the importance of the knowledge and awareness of prospective brides about the importance of pre-conception nutrition is something that cannot be ignored. The objective of this research was to determine the effect of nutritional counseling on the prospective brides’ knowledge in preventing anemia at UPTD Puskesmas Wonogiri 1. This type of research was a quasi-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique was total sampling, the number of samples was 25 prospective brides who had their premarital health checked at the UPTD Puskesmas Wonogiri 1. The data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of this study showed that the average value of the respondents’ knowledge before being given nutritional counseling was 56.40 and after being given nutritional counseling was 75.60. There was an increase in the average knowledge of 19.20. The results of the analysis with the Wilcoxon signed rank test statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). There was an effect of nutritional counseling on the prospective brides’ knowledge in preventing anemia at the UPTD Puskesmas Wonogiri 1. Abstract

Introduction: Complementary breastfeeding is started from the age of 6 months with the aim of meeting the nutritional needs of infants and children apart from breast milk. The MP-ASI given according to WHO recommendations is with a menu that includes four stars. Objective: Increase the knowledge of cadres about making MP ASI with the four star concept Problem solution. Provide training for Posyandu cadres in making complementary food for ASI (MP ASI) with the four star concept in an effort to support the growth and development of toddlers Method: The methods used are lectures, discussions, demonstrations and hands-on practice of making PMBA with an expensive Result: Community service activities carried out were attended by 55 health cadres with the characteristics of the majority of cadres with middle education, more than 5 years as cadres and the majority age is over 35 years. The majority of cadres have good knowledge of PMB, increasing from 60% to 92.7%. Conclusion: Knowledge of cadres about making complementary foods with the four star concept increases, and cadres can make complementary foods practically.

Abstract

Introduction: Efforts to lower maternal and infant mortality require roles as well as cross-sectoral. Kader is the carrier of the health development mission at the lowest level. Until now, health cadres have sometimes been a reference source for dealing with a person's health problems. The process of accompanying pregnant mothers is carried out by the village maid, however in the movement of the community is not apart from the role of the cadres as the person carrying the health mission closest to the community. Objective: 1. Improve the knowledge of cadres about the support of pregnant mothers with SISKA method (one mother one cadre); 2. Improving the ability of caders in supporting pregnant Mothers with SISKA method ( satu ibu satu kader ) Method: Press test is done before health education is given, then continued with health education, demonstration as well as practical early detection of high-risk pregnant mothers. After that, we'll have a post-test. The second phase is accompanied by the pregnant woman from the third trimester, which is the age of pregnancy 28 weeks to 40 weeks. Result: Post-test results show that the number of cadres with good knowledge has increased from 80% to 90%, some cadres (90%) have implemented adhesion according to the guidelines. Conclusion: The knowledge of caders increased after getting educational education on SISKA methods, as well as caders have been able to provide support to mothers pesticides, maternity and respiratory according to the guidelines.
